EA Sports comes up with their Team Of The Year event on FIFA on a yearly basis. This year as well, TOTY has started on FIFA 21 from 22nd January. Millions from around the globe have voted for the TOTY final XI and the final TOTY XI have been revealed yesterday, though the rating of only the three attackers have been revealed till now.
But the most shocking part is that Lionel Messi hasn’t made it to the final TOTY XI. The people haven’t voted for him maybe because of Barcelona’s recent slump and Messi also wanted to leave Barcelona for a new challenge, which affected him personally.
Now, Brazilian legend Pele has revealed his FIFA 21 Team Of The Year on Twitter. He has also surprisingly left both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi out of his FIFA 21 TOTY. This comes as a major surprise from the football legend.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are considered as one of the best players of all time. Messi has recently broken Pele’s record for the highest number of goals for a single club, while Ronaldo has become the highest official goalscorer in history.
Pele has instead chosen Paris Saint-Germain duo of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. Both of them played important roles in PSG’s pursuit of their first-ever Champions League final.

Ronaldo has been in fine form for Juventus despite languishing in the fifth place in the Serie A table. Meanwhile, Lionel Messi has once again found a formula to carry Barcelona on his shoulders as they are starting to get back to form after a slow start to this season.
