Pegatron, the Taiwanese electronics manufacturing company is proceeding with the plan to set up a new plan in Vietnam. The company already purchased a piece of land in the mentioned area at VND528.92 billion, which is around 22.9 million USD. The plant will be ready for production later in 2021.
The plant is going to be the second production base in South-East Asia. It will be located in an industrial zone of Vietnam’s Haiphong. As per the sources, the plan will be able to start its production on a mass scale from the second half of this year.
In case you don’t know, Pegatron is one of the specialists to produce notebooks, desktop computers, gaming consoles, motherboards, LCD TVs alongside smartphones, set-top boxes, cable modems, and so on.
Most importantly, Pegatron is one of the iPhone assemblers. Needless to say, after the launch of the new production plant, Pegatron will be able to take and manage more orders of its customers. From Apple’s perspective, it can handle unexpected demands freely in the coming days.
