Juventus are working to sign Paul Pogba on a free transfer this summer. The French midfielder will leave Manchester United for the second time as a free agent. The club has officially confirmed his departure, and he is closing in on a return to Serie A.
The proposal from the Bianconeri remains an €8 million deal per season excluding add-ons. The France international has been offered a four-year deal by them, and is yet to give them a final answer about his future. However, Juventus are still pushing to sign the player once more.
Paul Pogba closing in on a return to Juventus
Paris Saint-Germain were rumoured to be interested in signing Paul Pogba this summer. But, it now seems that they are out of the race for the Frenchman.
As of right now, Juventus are the only club seriously interested in signing Pogba and are pushing to complete the deal as soon as possible.
With an excess of options available in midfield, Pogba’s arrival would mean the departure of one of their existing players. Adrien Rabiot is expected to make the switch from Juve this summer. But, no advanced negotiations have taken place about a transfer for him yet.
Pogba is highly appreciated by the fans and the board at Juventus. As a result, there is a supportive environment available for him to get back to his best in Turin. But, it now remains to be seen whether Juventus can complete the transfer by meeting his demands.
