Key Players to Watch
Pakistan — Babar Azam: Despite the exclusion of Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf from the squad, Babar brings vital experience and big-match temperament. If he fires at SSC Colombo, Pakistan will set a daunting target.
Pakistan — Shaheen Shah Afridi: Shaheen’s left-arm swing in early overs is Namibia’s biggest threat — they haven’t faced this quality of new-ball bowling in the tournament.
Namibia — Gerhard Erasmus: The captain has anchored Namibia in tough chases before. If he survives the powerplay, Namibia can be dangerous in the middle overs.
Namibia — Ruben Trumpelmann: His left-arm seam has troubled top-order batters across tournaments. Pakistan’s top order needs to handle his opening burst carefully.

Form Guide & Head-to-Head
Pakistan and Namibia have met in T20 World Cup cricket previously — Pakistan comfortably won that encounter. Namibia meanwhile have struggled in Group A, losing to India heavily (by 93 runs) and falling to the Netherlands. Their only hope is a batting revival and an early wicket of Babar.
Pakistan, despite their controversial campaign — including initially threatening to boycott the India match — arrive here having won against Netherlands and USA, needing just a clean performance to seal qualification.
Pakistan vs Namibia Match Prediction
Pakistan to win — convincingly. The gap in quality between the two sides remains large. Namibia’s bowlers will fight hard in the powerplay, but Pakistan’s batting depth and Afridi’s new-ball threat make this a highly likely PAK victory.
Predicted Score: Pakistan 165–175 | Namibia 120–130
