Realmeow: The Mystery Resolved?

0

Around a week earlier, the electronics gadgets maker and smartphone giant Realme announced an event scheduled on 15th December, this Tuesday. On the announcement page, the name “Realmeow” was highlighted; even after the announcement, the company hyped up the name a lot through almost every social media platform, posted some clips, etc. Everywhere an animated cat was shown that wears a glass that seems to be a VR glass.

Needless to say, from the first day, lots of rumors come to the market regarding what is coming. Digging the image of the shadow of Realmeow, tech enthusiasts like us were expecting the launch of a VR glass, at least on the event day. The whole day passed, and I can bet, Realmeow is still a mystery to most of us. Please look at what the company reveals till now, and comment either you get what exactly Realme is doing, or you are as confused as us.

As per some of the sources, Realmeow is the Chief Trend Officer or mascot of Realme. But there is nothing mentioned on the webpage. Instead, there are some superpowers written of Realmeow, the animated can with a VR Type headset.

As per the company, Realmeow has ultra frequency awareness, “The Ultra-sensory Ear is capable of recognizing sound over a wide range of frequencies from 0.1Hz to 1,000,000Hz, and efficiently understands all galactic Gen-Z languages.” The glass, which we assumed as a VR glass, can “transform any object with just a glance, making it sharp with attitude an explosive with energy.” There are four more superpowers – transmit data in real-time through a treasure pocket to store things, a gravity device in legs, and lastly, the evolving mechanical body that turns to wings when it’s time to fly.

According to us, there can be two possibilities. The first one is Realmeow is actually a cat robot with cutting edge technologies, manufactured by Realme itself. Or, each superpower of the cat is actually representing upcoming products. The company is exaggerating and putting those together to form a hero character. For example, the laser glass represents a VR glass; the evolving mechanical body is a jacket, the pocket is a storage device, and more.

Let’s check out some of the quotes from TM Roh:

“We’ve also been paying attention to people’s favorite aspects of the Galaxy Note experience and are excited to add some of its most well-loved features to other devices in our lineup.”

“Thank you to everyone who supported us in 2020. I look forward to sharing more in January!”

“It’s going to be an epic new year.”

It is expected that only the Galaxy S21 Ultra is going to support the S-pen stylus. Roh also added that the Samsung Galaxy Note series will be rested. In the future, Galaxy Z series smartphones may support the S-pen stylus as well. Another good thing we’ve come to know that in 2021, Samsung foldable smartphones will become more accessible.

Roh also added, “Be on the lookout for the super-intelligent, pro-grade camera and video capabilities in 2021.” So, we can expect some really fantastic improvements in the camera section of the S21 series. Oppo A15s leaked renders show color variants and waterdrop notch

Oppo has launched the Oppo A15 in October, a lower budget smartphone in India at a starting price tag of Rs 8,990 (~$122). Recently, we’ve got a leaked image poster of the sibling of A15, that is the Oppo A15s. From that leak, we are almost confirmed regarding the design and specs of this device. On the other hand, the Oppo A15s was recently spotted at different certification platforms: Europe’s EEC, Singapore’s IMDA, and Malaysia’s SRIM. Apart from the earlier leaks, today some official renders of this phone have been leaked, showing the design of this phone with three different color variants. Also, we can see that the Oppo A15s will feature a waterdrop notch display.

One thing Oppo has confirmed through this image that Oppo A15s is going to be another sleek device from Oppo. The earlier leaked poster reads “Sleek and Smart”. So, it is definitely going to be a lightweight sleeker smartphone. The Oppo A15s will run on the Android 10 OS whereas the information about the chipset is still unknown. Though, it is expected that the Oppo A15s will be powered by the same MediaTek Helio P35 chipset of Oppo A15, paired with 3GB of RAM. The 4GB/64GB variant should be there as well.

The Oppo A15s will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ resolution supporting a waterdrop notch display. In terms of the camera section, this phone will offer a square-shaped triple rear AI camera setup that includes a 13MP primary sensor and a pair of 2MP lenses. For selfies, it is expected to feature a 5MP selfie snapper at the front. This phone has a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner.

In terms of battery, this phone is expected to be fueled up by a 4,230mAh battery. As of now, Oppo has not confirmed the price or the release date of this phone. But, we can expect that it will get launched before the end of 2020 at a price tag around 10K to 11K (probably Rs. 11,490).

Google discontinues the production of its Home Max

Google is a company that is never shy from innovating, and as such, the Android maker is always on the verge of making new inventions. It is not a piece of news if the company decides to abandon any of its products. As such, Google recently announced that it would no longer be manufacturing its Google Home Max.

The Google Home Max was launched in December 2017 for $399. But it seems that the device will be replaced by Google’s newest smart speaker, Nest Audio, which it launched in October. The Nest Audio costs $99.99.

According to sources, a smart speaker that produced high-quality sound is already sold out on the Google Store. And the news indeed seems to be accurate, as reports claim that if you visit the Google Store, then the device’s white and black models are listed as out of stock. But, Google announced that even if it has decided to discontinue the Google Home Max, it will still support the software updates and security fixes for the device.

“Existing Google Home Max users shouldn’t worry as they won’t see any change in their service. We’ll continue to offer software updates and security fixes to Google Home Max devices. We’re committed to delivering great sound and whole-home audio features across all of our Assistant-enabled products.”

CD PROJEKT RED apologizes for the horrible performance of the game on last-gen consoles

0

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open world, narrative-driven role-playing game set in the universe of the classic pen & paper RPG system — Cyberpunk 2020. The game follows the story of V — a hired gun on the rise in Night City, the most violent and dangerous metropolis of the corporate-ruled future.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been launched, and it seems that the game has impressed a lot of people. Simultaneously, the most anticipated massive open-world game has disappointed several gamers who purchased the title for their PS4 and Xbox One devices.

According to sources, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users’ experience can only be described as horrible. But fortunately, CD PROJEKT RED has responded professionally and has stated that it will issue refunds for the console players.

Taking to Twitter, the company behind the game apologized for not showing the performance of the game on last-gen consoles earlier. It also confirmed that all bugs and crashes would be fixed with the upcoming patches. We already know that a first patch is already released, and two large patches are being planned for January and February.

But the company also clarified that the patches wouldn’t make the game on last-gen consoles look the same as on a high-end gaming PC or next-gen consoles but should improve the experience significantly.

According to sources, CDPR stated that those who aren’t pleased with the experience on last-gen consoles and don’t want to wait for patches. They could opt for a refund from the Xbox Store or PlayStation Network (PSN) if they ordered a digital copy. Those who have purchased boxed versions of the game can contact the corresponding store or write to helpmerefund(at)cdprojektred.com. But the assistance will only be up until December 21, 2020.

During the lockdowns, the value of gadgets has majorly increased. And Android tablets have seen increased demand during this year. And though they are not as popular as notebooks or Chromebooks, they have had a decent performance. The apparent growth in the market value of android tablets is accredited to the pandemic.

Since the pandemic has caused homeschooling and work-from-home, not to mention the increased media consumption rate worldwide, many of the OEMs have realized just how vital the tablet industry is. Owing to all this, many companies have taken advantage of the situation. So let’s talk about a new Android tablet that will be hitting the market soon.

The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is a premium slate unveiled back in August and is now finally up for purchase. The tablet uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, which is the same processor as the Google Pixel 4a. It has an 11.5-inch display and uses an OLED panel with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and Dolby Vision. The manufacturer has provided the slate 4 JBL speakers that have Dolby Atmos audio.

It also comes with an optional pen and keyboard support. According to sources, the Tab P11 Pro starts at US$499.99, which is the price for the setup with 4 GB of memory and 128 GB of internal storage space. The device also has dual 8 MP front cameras and the 13 MP + 5 MP primary camera assembly on the back. Regarding the 6/128 GB version of the tablet, the variant costs only US$50 more than the 4/128 GB version.

A six-year-old caused her mother to loose $16000 over Apple’s in-app purchases

COVID-induced lockdowns and the sudden need to stay indoors have made us grow increasingly dependent on technology. Every one of us turned to digital content to relieve ourselves from boredom. Recently a new incident occurred related to this, and it shows us just how much is the value of technology in our life.

Jessica Johnson is an Apple user, and recently she discovered that $16,000 (Rs 11 lakh approximately) was paid to Apple from her account. Jessica did not become a debit or credit card, fraud victim. Instead, it was her six-year-old son George Johnson who is the real culprit. According to sources, the little guy was busy making in-app purchases on Apple App Store. Never trust your six-year-old with an iPad!

As per a New York Post report, 41-year-old Jessica was shocked when she found out that her six-year-old son has made in-app purchases worth $16000 on Apple App Store using his iPad. She also discovered that the transactions were made in July when he had started using the iPad for his games and purchase add-ons on the games.

According to sources, on July 8, her account was debited 25 times with around $ 2,500(Rs 1.8 lakh approximately). The mother thought that she has been duped by the hackers and filed a fraud claim. However, she was later informed that the purchases were made from her account, and nobody duped her.

Jessica then soon reached out to Apple, asking them to refund the money. But unfortunately, she was outright refused because she did not claim the money within 60 days. “Tough.’ They told me that because I didn’t call within 60 days of the charges, they couldn’t do anything. The reason I didn’t call within 60 days is that Chase told me it was likely fraud — that PayPal and Apple.com are top fraud charges,” Jessica was quoted by New York Post as saying.

Apple has parental controls options that allow the parents to monitor their kid’s browsing activities on their Apple devices. Some of the settings also include limiting purchases or accessing some of the apps. If Jessica would have used the feature, things would have turned out differently.

Nowadays all the companies are keeping aside the majority of their game library with a subscription offer for the PC and console. stadia ubisoft 02 1 Ubisoft+ game library is now available on Google Stadia

Only the US users can now connect their Ubisoft+ subscription to their Google accounts with the access to some amazing games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Fenyx Rising, and Watch Dogs: Legion. Every base game has its premium edition with DLCs.

You don’t need a separate Stadia Pro subscription for the Ubisoft+ games and DLCs. But there are still some advantages if you have both the Stadia Pro and Ubisoft+ subscription, though, as you can play the games in up to 4K with HDR.

All the Ubisoft+ games and DLCs don’t need any special gaming hardware to play. If you have got the rollout in your Stadia account, you can check out the Ubisoft+ settings on the Stadia web app. Ubisoft+ subscription is for $15 per month, where you will get access to Ubisoft’s game library on Stadia and PC.
