The new iOS 14 privacy of Apple now rolling out in India

0

Apple now needs the user permission on iOS 14.4 to introduce privacy labels in January or February. But it seems things are shifting ahead of the schedule. Those iPhones which are running on iOS 14.3 now started showing privacy prompt for few apps. It has been found that when the Ajio online shopping app was being tried to open on iOS 14.3, it shows an out-of-the-blue privacy prompt. This issue is faced by several iPhone users worldwide including the NBA app.

This privacy prompt is now seen on many iPhones that ask the user if the user gives permission to start tracking all activities across “other companies’ apps and websites” or if you don’t want to disallow the tracking. Apple also explained that the mentioned app is here to use your data “to provide you a better and personalized ad experience.”

The company stated that this privacy prompt is going to be a part of iOS 14.4 in the coming year. This is a big question now, how this app is going to protect the users against online trackers. Facebook stands against the new privacy changes of Apple and also they are saying that Apple’s privacy change will be a big reason for hampering small businesses.

Facebook said in a blog post “They’re hurting small businesses and publishers who are already struggling in a pandemic. These changes will directly affect their ability to use their advertising budgets efficiently and effectively.” Adam Mosseri, the Instagram head said that privacy is always important but not as much as the business his company is doing.

According to EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation), Facebook is not disclosing all the stories about why they are going against the iOS changes. EFF wrote in a blog post, “Facebook has recently launched a campaign touting itself as the protector of small businesses. This is a laughable attempt from Facebook to distract you from its poor track record of anticompetitive behaviour and privacy issues as it tries to derail pro-privacy changes from Apple that are bad for Facebook’s business.”

Earlier this year, Apple did slam Facebook by stating that Facebook does not care much about user privacy. Apple said that “We believe that this is a simple matter of standing up for our users. Users should know when their data is being collected and shared across other apps and websites — and they should have the choice to allow that or not.” It suggested that users have the right to control over their privacy.

11th Gen Intel Rocket Lake processors mass production will start from January 2021

0

Intel is now desperate to launch its upcoming 11th Gen CPUs to counter AMD’s never-seen-before Ryzen 5000 series processors as they have completely outthrown Intel in gaming this time. Although Intel is said to have doubled its chip production in the last three years its prolonged struggle with 14nm process is frustrating.

11th Gen Rocket Lake will again be a refreshed Sky Lake with the same “tick-tock” increments down the years. Although you cannot expect any major benefits with this generation but still the paper launch to counter AMD is still not known certainly.

One thing Intel needs to learn from AMD will surely be the commitment and simplicity of its products, Intel has been confusing people with names of its CPUs, doing no actual improvements with its desktop CPUs, which need motherboard upgrade every year.

As per @OneRaichu, it seems Intel wants to start off with the mass production of these Rocket Lake CPUs as early as next month. Also the leaked roadmap does really show that although the RTS (Ready To Ship) date is around 12th to 21st week of 2021, Intel wants to bring its processors sooner.

This shouldn’t be a problem if the mass production gets started as it has already gone through the production of engineering samples back in June and a refined version came in August.

Whereas in November, Intel has started manufacturing qualification samples whose leaks have been spotted multiple times. Also these samples went for qualification  hardware evaluation in the same month and its just a matter of time when we will see these processors in action, the main question being can they overtake AMD Ryzen 5000?

After the match against Leeds last weekend, he said to Skysports, “You just go on the pitch and do your job, you don’t want to get too carried away.”

FIFA cancel Men’s U17 and U20 World Cup 2021 due to Covid-19

0

The FIFA council on Thursday announced that they have decided to cancel the 2021 edition of Men’s U17 and U20 World Cup.

The Council of FIFA also announced that the hosting rights for the U17 World Cup and U20 World Cup 2023 edition are given to Peru and Indonesia respectively.

“The COVID-19 pandemic continues to present challenges for the hosting of international sporting events and to have a restrictive effect on international travel. FIFA has therefore regularly consulted the relevant stakeholders, including the host member associations as well as the confederations involved in both tournaments originally scheduled to take place in 2021,” said the governing body of football in a statement.

“In doing so, it became clear that the global situation has failed to normalise to a sufficient level to address the challenges associated with hosting both tournaments, including the feasibility of the relevant qualification pathways,” it further added.

FIFA also has shown its gratitude to the host nations as well as the authorities in Indonesia and Peru for their commitment and the preparations for the tournaments.

FIFA after the success of previous World Cup editions FIFA has started more than before as India has created momentum after hosting the U-17 successfully with great facilities to the teams and also great support from the audience too. Not only this but also FIFA chief Gianni Infantino announced India as a football continent.

The victory in last year’s U17 World Cup, added to Brazil’s success of 1997, 1999 and 2003 as they moved with that of Nigeria’s record of five championships.

The United States U-20s is one of the most successful teams in U17 and U20 levels as they have reached the quarterfinals in each of the last three U-20 World Cups and even the U-17s made the quarterfinals in 2017.

Upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti & GeForce RTX 3060 GPUs confirmed by ASUS

0

The Taiwan OEM giant ASUS has recently confirmed that NVIDIA’s two upcoming GPUs are not very far away from launch, scheduled coming in early 2021. This is because the brand has listed both of the cards in their supports and services page.

Now, recently spotted by HXL (@9550pro), in the GeForce RTX 30 series ROG STRIX variants, you have both GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3060 graphics cards. It is not unusual as NVIDIA is rumored to launch the RTX 3060 next month followed by RTX 3080 Ti soon.

Asus does make a lot of wild variants of these GPUs including overclocked and non-overclocked variants. However, with these listings, they have seemingly confirmed the fact that the RTX 3080 Ti will feature 20 GB of GDDR6X memory whereas the GeForce RTX 3060 will feature 12 GB of GDDR6 memory.

Upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti & GeForce RTX 3060 GPUs confirmed by ASUS

Apart from the VRAM, as per the leaked specs, the RTX 3080 Ti will have memory speeds of 19 Gbps, and it will be using a 320-bit bus interface equaling to a bandwidth of 760 GB/s. On the other hand, the total power consumed by the GPU will be 320 Watts and its also rumoured that the pricing of this GPU could match the pricing of the new RX 6900 XT at $999.

Coming to the mid-range RTX 3060, it is said to feature 3840 FP32 cores in a total of 30 SM units. The total VRAM is still in doubt as leaks of both 6 GB (14 Gbps), and 12 GB (16 Gbps) have come out, but most likely NVIDIA could end up using the former memory.

The GeForce RTX 3060 should come with 192-bit bus interface and if it has 16 Gbps memory speed, the total memory bandwidth sums up to 384 GB/s. The GPU could end up being priced at $299 and it will not be long enough to know what actually the pricing or specs will be as NVIDIA will be hosting an event on January 12th.

The race between the smartphone OEMs has already started that who can first launch a device with the latest Qualcomm’s SoC. But, people are looking not only at the Snapdragon 888 processor but also finding smartphones with amazing camera specifications. We believe that smartphones with 108MP and Snapdragon 888 will be highly demanded in the market. There are not many reasons why would a person refrain from buying a smartphone run by the fascinating Snapdragon 888 with a quality camera. Here are two phones which will be launched very early and give you both of the qualities.

Xiaomi Mi 11 peeks at us before its launch on December 28 | BGR India

Xiaomi M11 – The market believes that Xiaomi M11 will be the first flagship to host Snapdragon 888 SoC. Currently, it is one of those smartphones which will also have a triple-camera with a 108MP sensor. Yesterday, we covered Xiaomi M11 and talked about its powerful RAM. M11’s “full-blood” LPDDR5 RAM will provide a faster experience to the customers as they have never experienced before. This RAM will help the 108MP camera to run properly without any obstructions.

Redmi K40 Pro – Redmi is considered as another front-runner which will bring a smartphone device with 108MP and will be run by Snapdragon 888. It is expected that Redmi K40 Pro might enter the market early next year. Thus, Xiaomi might have enough time to beat the Redmi for the launch of one such smartphone. Apart from the lavishing 108MP camera, the device will consist of 12GB RAM, a 120Hz refresh rate screen, and a powerful battery of 4,500mAh.

Even Realme’s upcoming Race will also feature Snapdragon 888 5G processor and many others are also included in the list and many more to come in the coming year.

What is the possibility?

In 2020, we have already seen a bunch of smartphones with 108MP camera sensor. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10, Motorola Edge+, and Mi Mix Alpha 5G are a few of those smartphones present in this list. With Qualcomm’s new SoC, people expect that they might see both of these features, camera, and SoC, together in one smartphone. This expectation can become a reality very soon as the first such smartphone can be noticed in the market as soon as January 2021.

Liverpool will wait for Sanches deal; Kabak on radar

Almost every other football fan who does not support Liverpool thought the reigning Champions’ season was going to end poorly when the club found themselves dealing with numerous fist team injuries at the same time. However, the way that Liverpool have reacted to the injuries has been absolutely commendable.

Jurgen Klopp himself has applauded the way that his men have shown their team spirit and functioned as a unit to reclaim their place back at the top of the Premier League table.

Recently, there were reports of the club agreeing a fee with Lille for their midfielder Renato Sanches, potentially making a deal in the January transfer window. But, speaking on the topic on the “Here We Go” podcast, Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio dismissed any move being in place.

The big moves for the club will be saved for the summer since Liverpool are not looking forward to overpaying in the middle of the summer. Things at Anfield are very calm, especially considering that Klopp is very happy with the way things are and he does not want to change much.

Sanches was talked about as the replacement for Gini Wijnaldum, should he leave the club. The Dutch international’s contract expires in the summer, and there are currently no talks about an extension. If Wijnaldum agrees to join any club on the expiry of his current deal, Liverpool are sure to go through with the move for Sanches.

Elsewhere, Schalke’s Ozan Kabak is also one of the names being linked with Anfield since Liverpool are in need of quality centre-backs who can hold the fort even without Virgil Van Dijk, as the situation is right now.

Schalke are in desperate need of money right now, owing to their shocking form, and will not hesitate in selling Kabak to get a sum of money to help sort things out for the club.

0

We all know that OnePlus is going to launch the OnePlus 9 series in the first half of 2021. At first, the company confirms that initially, this series will have two smartphones. But according to the report, this upcoming series will have three smartphones initially, including OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9 Lite.

According to the source, this upcoming OnePlus 9 Lite will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC, whereas the OnePlus 9 and the Pro model will be powered by Qualcomm’s this year’s flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset.

Normally, OnePlus launches two models in its flagship series. But this time, the company is planning to launch three devices in its flagship series. But the processor of the 9 Lite will differ from the other two devices in this series. It is a good strategy on OnePlus’s part, to use last year’s flagship SoC for the Lite model.

Another source reveals that the OnePlus 9 Lite could have a similarity with the OnePlus 8T. The upcoming OnePlus 9 Lite is expected to have an AMOLED display with a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. It is also reported that the battery of the upcoming 9 Lite will get the support of 65W of fast-changing technology. Regarding the camera sensor, it could be very similar too. Regarding the out feature, the upcoming OnePlus 9 Lite comes with a plastic back panel.

Unfortunately, the company hasn’t revealed any details regarding this phone, but this upcoming OnePlus 9 Lite might be priced around $600, whereas the 9 model at around $800 and the Pro model at around $950-1000. Apart from this information, we haven’t got any other clue regarding this topic. Hope we will provide more information in the upcoming days.
