Fabrizio Romano tips Mesut Ozil for MLS spell after Fenerbahce stint

0

Arsenal recently terminated Mesut Ozil’s contract and the German midfielder joined Fenerbahce on a free transfer. However, the Turkish club weren’t the only ones interested in Ozil’s signature.

MLS club DC United were also reported to be in the race to sign Mesut Ozil, as talked about by Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio on the Here We Go podcast on Patreon. But with all that said, the transfer turned out in favour of Mesut Ozil’s more desired destination.

Speaking on the recently successful transfer, Romano further indicated that even though the recent future of the World Cup winning player is set, a stint in America could be on it’s way in the future considering that Ozil wants to play in the MLS.

With today’s transfer market, and with players who are ageing, nothing can be said for sure since the decision is completely up to the player. But while there is no certainty on the issue, Ozil could still dazzle the league with his outstanding performances on the pitch given that the pressure to deliver isn’t as high as Europe.

Papu Gomez closer to signing for Sevilla

The 32-year-old argentine is set to leave Serie A, and sources have confirmed that the La Liga football club. Sevilla wants to sign him from Atalanta, but Sevilla are facing a lot of struggle to get a deal done as there is plenty of competition for his signature.

Papu’s reason for leaving the club is his falling out with the club manager Gian Piero Gasperini, but there is nothing to worry as plenty of clubs are seemed to be interested in signing him.

Source- Mundo Albiceleste

Papu Gomez has not played a single game since mid-December after a quarrel during a Champions League group stage match with Midtjylland and, has been seen training separately to the rest of the squad since then. Also, Per a report by Fabrizio Romano, Sevilla is apparently close to signing him with a bid of around €5-6 million with personal terms having already been accepted.

The Argentine has 50 Serie A goals to his name in 209 appearances since joining the club in 2014. In December, after the dispute, with the team manager, Gomez asked to be sold. AC Milan, Inter and Paris Saint-Germain were all interested.

Atalanta has asked around €15 million for Gomez, with Julen Lopetegui’s side hoping to sign the Argentine. But if another team comes in and bids more, it may create a dilemma but Sevilla does have an advantage that with Atalanta unwilling to accept any offers from their Serie A rivals.

Atalanta is currently in the sixth position in Serie A after finishing on the third place in each of the last two seasons but is only one point away from third with half the season still to play. So they don’t have any desire to strengthen a competitor with one of their star players.

They have been doing well without Gomez, by winning four matches and drawing three of their seven league games since his absence, but they would prefer to see him move abroad.

Also, if he goes on loan to some other team, Atalanta still would demand a mandatory purchase option to prevent the possibility of his contract ending and joining a Serie A rival on a free transfer.

Samsung is now the only established company that works on its smartphones and tablets equally. Samsung has been reportedly working on its Galaxy Tab S7 Lite device. Apart from it, the company is also in the works on another lower-budget tablet, named the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2021). Now, this is going to be the successor of the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). As of now, we’ve not got any official information about the device. But recently, a few rough-looking CAD-based renders of the upcoming tablet have been leaked, showing the design of the device.

As per the design, the tablet will have rounded corners and the bezels look thinner which is pretty good at a lower price point. there will be a single camera on the rear side. For selfies, a punch-hole is there at the front. Looking at the display, there are no physical buttons on it. This will give a premium look to the device. Looking at the design all-over, there doesn’t seem to be a fingerprint sensor anywhere. As it is a budget tablet, it is quite normal to not have a fingerprint reader.

If we compare the design to its predecessor, it’s not much of a change. So, there will be definitely some improvement in terms of the software. For charging, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2021) has the support for the USB-C charging port, and most importantly, it retains the 3.5mm headphone jack of its predecessor. Coming to the dimension, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2021) is said to measure 201.9 x 125.2 x 7 mm whereas the 2020 model of the device measures around 202 x 125.2 x 7.1 mm.

At CES this year, Asus did announce an ultra-portable gaming laptop powered by Intel’s Tiger Lake-H processors, and it makes sense as it’s a go-to gaming laptop up to 16.6 hours of video playback. A thin and lightweight as it is, it packs a Core i7-11375H, and GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU should give a handsome gaming experience.

Thanks to Intel’s single-core improvement, though stuck with 4 cores, the cores have high clock speeds of 3.3 GHz base and up to a whopping 5.0 GHz. The best part is that due to the new 10nm SuperFin transistors, the processor draws only 35 W of power, helping Asus make the laptop light.

But does it affect the performance? Well, we have a first Geekbench score of this upcoming laptop; thanks to @TUM_APISAK, the new ASUS TUF Dash F15 with Core i7-11375H puts up some healthy number although it’s limited to 4 cores only.

The Core i7-11375H puts up a single-core score of 1577 points and is pretty good, whereas, in multi-core, the CPU manages to score a respectable 5159 points. Well, for a thin and light gaming laptop, the score is good enough; what really matters to get more FPS is the GPU.

So, the TUF Gaming Dash F15 gaming laptop could be a lucrative option for a lot of gamers who give more importance to overall gaming performance along with portability.
