S8UL, one of the country’s leading Esports organizations has joined hands with Velocity Gaming to form an alliance and create a star-studded roleplay server in GTA V that features India’s biggest creators from the two respective squads.

This partnership comes as a boost to India’s GTA community, as it is a commitment from two of the country’s top Esports organizations towards contributing to the growth of the game. This association will be a significant step which enhances the GTA RP scene in the country.

With GeForce RTX 4080 performance, Ultimate members will be the first to experience true PC gaming on nearly any device — streaming at 240 frames per second from the cloud with full ray tracing and DLSS 3, in hit games like Portal With RTX. With the addition of NVIDIA Reflex, it achieves click-to-pixel latency below 40 milliseconds — another first in cloud gaming.

The GeForce NOW Ultimate membership is available for new user sign-ups today, at the current rate of $19.99 per month or $99.99 for six months. GeForce RTX 3080 members’ accounts have already been converted to new members at their pricing.

Upgraded GeForce RTX 4080 performance streaming from the new SuperPODs will be available in North America and Europe starting later this month, with continued rollout over the months to follow.

NVIDIA Ada Lovelace Breaks Energy-Efficiency Barrier, Supercharges 170+ Laptop Designs for Gamers and Creators

At CES today, NVIDIA announced new GeForce RTX 40 Series laptops. Powered by the company’s ultra-efficient Ada Lovelace GPU architecture which delivers NVIDIA’s largest-ever generational leap in performance and power efficiency, GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs will be featured in over 170 laptops from all of the major manufacturers.

The new GeForce RTX 40 Series laptops are up to 3x more power efficient than the previous generation and bring the Ada architecture, NVIDIA DLSS 3 and fifth-generation Max-Q technologies to laptops for the first time. For gamers, RTX 40 Series laptops deliver up to 4x the performance in AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077, and for creators, they offer blazing-fast acceleration for NVIDIA Studio exclusive apps like Omniverse and top creative apps such as Blender.

The new line-up of GPUs for laptops includes GeForce RTX 4080, 4070, 4060 and 4050 GPUs, and for the first time ever on laptops, an RTX 4090 GPU is coming too.

The Ada architecture has enabled a new class of enthusiast laptops, the world’s fastest. RTX 40 Series flagship laptops powered by GeForce RTX 4080 and 4090 GPUs start at $1,999 and will be available beginning Feb. 8. Streamers can live stream games at 4K 60 fps with AV1 encoding to Discord, and Ada’s new dual encoders cut video export time in half. 

The new RTX 4070, 4060 and 4050 laptops are faster than the previous-generation flagship model, at as little as one-third of the GPU power. They deliver 80 fps, 1440p ultra-gaming and transform creation processes like rendering scenes in Blender, which used to take two and a half hours, to just 10 minutes. On the other hand, these RTX 4050/60/70 laptops will start at $999 and will be available beginning Feb. 22.

Fifth-Generation Max-Q Technologies Improve Laptop Efficiency

With each new GPU generation since 2017, advancements in Max-Q technology have improved laptop design. Today, alongside the launch of the GeForce RTX 40 Series laptops, NVIDIA is introducing its fifth-generation Max-Q technologies, which radically enhance efficiency and accelerate gaming performance using the following upgrades:

  • NVIDIA® DLSS 3 has been optimized for laptops and built into Max-Q technologies, including Whispermode and BatteryBoost, which improve performance, acoustics and battery life by up to 2x.

Well, finally, the Green team has launched their highly-anticipated and “affordable” yet RTX 40-series GPU to the market and yes it’s the RTX 4070 Ti, the successor to the highly successful RTX 3070 Ti. Based on NVIDIA’s new Ada Lovelace Architecture, these really powerful GPUs and so will have a price hike to make the new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti available for $799.

Thanks to the new 4nm process and up to 2x performance and power efficiency alongside 4x performance with DLSS 3 vs. brute-force rendering, this makes the new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti really interesting. We already knew about the specs of this GPU as per multiple rumours and indeed you will get 7680 CUDA cores running at 2.61 GHz and 12 GB of GDDR6X memory.

The RTX 4070 Ti is nearly as fast as the NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti from the previous generation in a number of leaked benchmarks and as per NVIDIA’s numbers, the new GPU is almost twice faster as the last-gen RTX 3080 with DLSS. Also, NVIDIA says this new RTX 4070 Ti is 40% more efficient than the last-gen RTX 3080 which is again impressive.

Now, finally, at CES 2023, Intel has unveiled its 65W and 35W based desktop chips based on the new architecture and Intel 7 process.

So, essentially all these new 65W SKUs, which will be available to buy in the market, now feature from 4 up to 24 cores. In terms of the number of cores, you still get up to 8 Performance Cores and 16 Efficiency Cores whereas the maximum power ranges from 89W to 219W.

Intel bolstered the world’s best desktop processor experience with new 13th Gen Intel Core processors launching today. Rounding out the 13th Gen desktop processor family that first launched with the enthusiast-focused K-series SKUs in September, new 35-watt and 65-watt SKUs provide mainstream PC users even more choices for power efficiency while still delivering incredible performance in gaming, creation and productivity. They offer:

  • Up to 5.6 GHz, 24 cores/32 threads – with the introduction of Efficient-cores to Intel Core i5 mainstream processors – and larger L2 cache combining to deliver up to 11% single-threaded and 34% multithreaded performance over 12th Gen Intel Core non-K processors. These gen-over-gen performance gains ensure that the new 35-watt and 65-watt 13th Gen Intel Core non-K processors are delivering next-level performance in both gaming and content creation for mainstream PC users.
  • Full forward and backward compatibility with 600-series and 700-series motherboards, as well as support for both DDR5 and DDR4 memory.
  • Improved energy efficiency with Intel® Dynamic Tuning Technology and better power scaling, delivering greater performance per watt (PPW) than ever before.

While the Core i7s and Core i9s will be supporting up to DDR5-5600 and DDR4-3200 RAMs, whereas, the non-overclockable Core i5s and Core i3s will support DDR5-4800 and DDR4-3200 RAMs. Intel has stressed more on the Core i5 variants and given users a plethora of options ranging from 6C/12T to 10C/16T or even 14C/20T configurations having a price range varying from $196 to $255.

Talking about the pricing, the expensive 65W-based Core i9s now have a price of $564/$589 whereas the Core i7s also get a price bump to make them available for $359/$384. Also, there are 35W-based T-series chips with similar configurations but will mostly be used by OEMs.

At CES 2023 today, following the sunsetting of the Intel Pentium and Intel Celeron branding, Intel today introduced the new Intel Processor and Intel Core i3 in the N-series family of products – purpose-built for the education segment, entry-level computing and IoT edge native applications.

So, to make things simpler for their entry-level processors, Intel has introduced new branding, these new chips will be based on the latest architectures as well. Intel will continue to sharpen its focus on its flagship brands:  Intel® Core™, Intel® Evo™ and Intel vPro®.

So, Intel Processor will serve as the brand name for multiple processor families, helping to simplify the product purchase experience for consumers. Intel will continue to deliver the same products and benefits within segments. The brand leaves unchanged Intel’s current product offerings and Intel’s product roadmap.

Intel Processor N-series Launch for Entry-Level Computing

This new lineup consists of four processors and they will come with great iGPU to make even entry-level laptops or desktops even better. While you have the i3-N-305 up at the stack with 8 cores whereas the Intel Processor N100 and N200 are the base models with 4 cores.

These processors are designed for education and consumer segments that need a lower, value-oriented price point, but still, require performance and high-quality experiences in areas like video collaboration and productivity. More than 50 designs from Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Asus are expected in 2023 as Intel continues to lead ecosystem partnerships for ChromeOS and Windows.

A brand-new entry-level smartphone from Poco has been released. In India, the Poco C50 was unveiled. It boasts a large 6.5-inch display, a 5000mAh battery, and an 8-megapixel camera on the back.

In recent months, there haven’t been many entry-level smartphones introduced by smartphone manufacturers. It is becoming increasingly difficult for buyers in India to find a good phone for under ₹7,500. With the Poco C50, things for the entry-level consumer could, however, change for the better.

Availability and Pricing

There are two Poco C50 models available, each with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone has a base price of ₹6499 for the 2GB RAM variant and a price of ₹7299 for the 3GB RAM option. However, the smartphone is offered at a special introductory price of ₹6249 for the 2GB option and ₹6999 for the 3GB option. The smartphone will be offered in the two eye-catching colors of Country Green and Royal Blue.

The Poco C50 measures 164.9x 76.75x 9.09mm and weighs 192gm. The Poco C50 offers a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD Display with a resolution of 720X1600 and 400 nits of peak brightness. The touch response on the smartphone is incredibly smooth thanks to its 120Hz touch sampling rate. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 chipset with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU, which features LPDDR4X RAM.

The smartphone is powered on the Android 12 GO edition. The Poco C50 is available in two different configurations: 2GB LPDDR4X RAM and 3GB LPDDR4X RAM, both with 32GB of inbuilt eMMC 5.1 storage and 512GB of additional memory via microSD.

The Poco C50’s cameras consist of a 5MP front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, and depth sensor which can support 1080p at 30 fps. It supports MicroUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

The Poco C50 has a 5000mAh battery in it that allows 10W fast charging. Additionally, it has a P2i coating that makes it water resistant, and a fingerprint scanner that is positioned on the back. Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, a top-ported loudspeaker, and FM radio.
