Overwatch 2 Season 7 Diablo IV crossover event details

The New Diablo 4-inspired game mode Trials of Sanctuary for Overwatch 2 was just unveiled. In an exciting survival struggle, this co-op PvE game mode will bring familiar Sanctuary characters to Overwatch 2.

Rise of Darkness, the seventh season of Overwatch 2, lavishly honors the spookiest time of year. Numerous Halloween-themed skins, including several drawn from the Diablo universe, are being added to Overwatch 2 in this update.

It appears, though, that these new Diablo skins for Overwatch 2 are not merely cosmetic.

Trials of Sanctuary, a brand-new game mode for Overwatch 2, will debut during the Halloween Terror holiday event. Players are transported to a dark version of Blizzard World for this Diablo-inspired event where they engage in a cooperative survival struggle against legions of robots that resemble zombies. Players can gather power-ups that enhance their capabilities with additional effects, such as launching extra projectiles or generating destructive areas with their powers, to prepare themselves for boss fights with characters like Butcher Roadhog, Azmodan Wrecking Ball, and Lilith Moira.

Other PvE content is also added to Overwatch 2 by Halloween Terror. Players can anticipate additional difficulties associated with the Christmas event as both Junkenstein’s Revenge and Wrath of the Bride return. Players of Overwatch 2 can gain Overwatch Credits, Battle Pass XP, and more creepy cosmetics for different characters by completing these challenges.

Overwatch 2 Season 7: Rise of Darkness has a lot more to look forward to than just the holiday season. Players will have a new arena to master on the new Samoa Control map, and the first checkpoint on the Route 66 map is getting a little more forgiving for attackers. If that weren’t enough, Sombra, the resident hacker from Overwatch 2, will get a redesign at the start of the season, while Roadhog will get one before Season 8.

Additionally, BlizzCon will occur during Season 7. Players may await the highly anticipated debut of the upcoming Overwatch 2 tank hero at the event, which will serve as the first look at Season 8. Players won’t have to wait long to find out who the final playable character for 2023 is, despite the abundance of theories about who it might be.
