It started with a baby, two strangers forced to share a roof, and more bickering than either of them bargained for. It ended with the highest ratings of its entire run. Our Universe (우주를 줄게) wrapped up on March 12, 2026, and despite its share of viewer debates mid-run, the finale proved that audiences were watching right till the very last frame.

What Made the Finale So Special
On March 12, Our Universe achieved the highest viewership ratings of its entire run with its series finale, scoring an average nationwide rating of 2.0 percent according to Nielsen Korea — marking an all-time high for the show and a fitting farewell to one of the season’s most emotionally resonant stories.
The series follows two in-laws, 28-year-olds Seon Tae-hyung and Woo Hyun-jin, whose lives are upended when they are forced to raise their infant nephew Woo-ju following the sudden death of his parents — who were their respective siblings. Despite having no prior close relationship, the two begin living together to care for the baby. Wikipedia
What began as an enemies-to-lovers co-parenting setup deepened into something genuinely touching over 12 episodes. The baby Woo-ju, played brilliantly by child actor Park Yoo-ho, became the emotional anchor of the entire show — and arguably its biggest scene-stealer. The show also marked the revival of tvN’s Wednesday–Thursday drama programming, which had been suspended since May 2023 — a three-year hiatus. Wikipedia
The drama wasn’t without controversy — viewers were divided over screen time distribution and the love triangle — but the finale ratings say one thing clearly: when it mattered most, audiences showed up.
