Our Happy Days Episode 10: Uhm Hyun Kyung Behind Bars — and Jung Yoon Is Showing Zero Mercy

Just when you thought Our Happy Days couldn’t get more intense, Episode 10 throws its lovably clumsy heroine Jo Eun Ae (Uhm Hyun Kyung) headfirst into a full-blown legal crisis — and her biggest obstacle is none other than the coldly composed Go Min Ho (Jung Yoon) who refuses to let her off the hook.

Our Happy Days Episode 10 at a Glance

What Happened? Here’s the Recap

In a desperate bid to uncover the truth, Jo Eun Ae secretly swiped her father’s master key — he works as a cleaner at Kang Soo Construction — snuck into the director’s office, and photographed a critical acquisition document. Bold move. The kind that looks heroic in movies. Unfortunately for Eun Ae, real life has Go Min Ho standing right behind her when she gets caught red-handed.

Cut to: a police station showdown. Eun Ae — desperate, scared, and pleading — faces a stone-faced Go Min Ho who makes his position crystal clear: no settlement, no leniency, no exceptions. The evidence is airtight. She was caught in the act. And he is not in the business of second chances.

A Father’s Love Can’t Break These Bars

The most emotionally charged moment of the episode comes when Jo Sung Joon rushes to the police station after hearing about his daughter’s arrest. In a heartbreaking scene, he comforts a terrified Eun Ae — who is genuinely afraid of becoming a criminal — and promises to personally approach the director to resolve the situation.

Despite his efforts, Eun Ae ends up in a holding cell, leaving fans anxiously wondering: can this father-daughter duo find a way out of this mess? Or has Eun Ae’s bold gamble cost her too much?

This is precisely the kind of raw, emotionally grounded storytelling that makes Korean family dramas so deeply compelling — the collision of love, desperation, and consequence in everyday lives.

Why Our Happy Days Episode Is a Game-Changer

Our Happy Days has always balanced warmth with tension, but Episode 10 cranks the stakes to a whole new level. Go Min Ho’s refusal to grant leniency adds fascinating complexity to his character — is he protecting the company, or is there something more personal at play? And Eun Ae’s reckless bravery, rooted entirely in love for her family, makes her impossible not to root for.

The push-and-pull between these two characters — the world’s most perfect man and the endearingly clumsy woman — just got a whole lot more complicated. 🔥
