Oppo came out with their Oppo Reno 6 series in China at the end of May, it consisted of three devices, the Oppo Reno 6 5G, Oppo Reno 6 Pro, and Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ 5G.
Recent reports now indicate that one of these devices will be launching in India in the coming weeks. According to Moneycontrol, Oppo Reno’s India release is just around the corner. The device is expected to release anywhere in the mid of July or towards the end.
The Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G in China had released with a 6.55″ FHD+ 90Hz curved AMOLED display, it was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, it had a quad-camera setup that featured a 64MP main sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and two additional sensors of 2MP for macro and depth shots. It comes with a 32MP front camera.
The device ran on Android 11 based ColorOS 11.3 and had a 4500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
The upcoming Reno 6 Pro 5G will be the successor to the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G that released at the beginning of this year. It is not known if the device released in China will be the same device that will come to India. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro was priced at CNY 3499(40,226 INR) for the 8GB+128GB variant and CNY 3799(43,000 INR) for the 12GB+256GB version in China.
