Oppo is looking to compete with the likes of Samsung with its latest foldable smartphones
As per tipster Yogesh Brar, the flagships are scheduled to debut globally this fall and will go head to head against Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 respectively. The Find N Fold is a device similar to a tablet while the Find N Flip features a clamshell design.
Both models have been certified by the necessary authorities and they have also been registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office. There is still a lot of ambiguity with respect to the specifications of these foldable devices but we can expect to see them leak or be revealed soon.
It is not surprising that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 chip powers these smartphones, it is the best flagship chip for top-tier smartphones as it is powerful and efficient as well. Qualcomm is hoping that the increased demand for its premier chip will lead to a stellar year in terms of sales, it has already inked a partnership with Manchester United.
Oppo hopes that the Find N Fold and Find N Flip will have the same reception as the Find N did. The smartphone was sold out within minutes after being released, as of now, there are details on the pricing of the smartphones. Considering that the foldable will go against Samsung, we can expect the pricing to be aggressive and competitive.
