The OPPO Watch X2 is reportedly in the works and could potentially launch as a rebranded OnePlus Watch 3. The OPPO Watch X2 series will include three models, namely the Watch X2, Watch X2 (46mm), and the Watch X2 Pro. According to a new finding on China’s TENAA certification website, which suggests a coming release, it appears the OPPO Watch X2 could be on the horizon.

OPPO Watch X2 Series, Possibly Rebranded OnePlus Watch 3 Pro, Spotted on TENAA Certification

The OPPO Watch X2 has a model number of OWW251 as per the TENAA listing, further corroborating earlier reports on the series. It has a round display encased in a metal body, just like the first-gen OPPO Watch X. The image attached shows a black strap, yet more colours are expected to be available at launch.

The OPPO Watch X2 has some noteworthy enhancements, and one of them is an upgrade to its battery. Its battery will have a capacity of 631mAh, a lot larger than the 500mAh battery on OPPO Watch X, which means more time to spend without worries. The eSIM support in the new OPPO Watch X2 will allow users to make calls or use the internet directly from their smartwatch without the aid of their smartphones.

The OPPO Watch X2 is expected to be rebranded OnePlus Watch 3 or OnePlus Watch 3 Pro. It carries an approach over from the OPPO Watch X which is essentially a re-gen OnePlus Watch 2. This means we can expect the new smartwatch to be unveiled along with the OnePlus 13 smartphone, so for the OPPO Watch X2 series, we can expect the release to come shortly after.

While the first-generation OPPO Watch X was not launched in India, leaving some uncertainty about the Watch X2’s availability in the region, it’s expected to make its debut in China next month. However, it remains unclear if OPPO will expand the Watch X2 series to global markets, including India.
