OPPO, the well-known smartphone manufacturer, has teased the upcoming launch of its latest foldable phone, which is likely to be called the OPPO Find N3. In a short video clip, the letter ‘N’ takes center stage, indicating the imminent arrival of the new device.
While specific details remain undisclosed, it is expected that the phone will first debut in the Chinese market, potentially around August, before making its way to other regions. The teaser’s timing is notable, coinciding with Samsung’s recent launch event for its Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable phones on July 26th.
Everything You Need to Know about the Upcoming Oppo Find N3
Initial reports suggested that the OPPO Find N3 would be exclusive to China, following the pattern set by its predecessors, the OPPO Find N and Find N2. However, sightings of the foldable device on certification platforms in Thailand and Indonesia have sparked speculation that it might also be available in these markets.
Adding to the intrigue, there are rumors circulating that OnePlus’ first foldable phone, expected to debut on August 29th, could be a rebranded version of the OPPO Find N3. Yet, concrete details about the differences between the two foldable devices are yet to be unveiled.
The alleged specifications of the OPPO Find N3 are quite impressive. The device is rumored to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate on the outer screen. Inside, users might be greeted with a larger 8-inch AMOLED 2K display with the same 120Hz refresh rate. A powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset clocked at 3.36GHz is anticipated to power the phone, coupled with a hefty 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a spacious 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device is expected to run on ColorOS 13.1, based on Android 13.
Photography enthusiasts may find delight in the OPPO Find N3’s camera setup, which is speculated to include a 32MP front-facing camera. On the back, the device could sport an impressive combination of a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP periscope telephoto camera.
