Oppo launched the Reno8 Series in May in China, the lineup is now coming to India on the 18th of July. Similar to the global variant of the phone, the Indian version will also have two models namely, the Oppo Reno8 and the Reno8 Pro. We now know the specs of both devices ahead of the launch.

The Reno8 Pro will arrive with a 6.7″ AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz, in terms of the design, the phone flaunts a streamlined unibody design that is 7.34mm thick excluding the camera bump.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chip that offers a 12% increase in terms of performance and 50% better power efficiency over the Reno7 Pro which was powered by the MTK Dimensity 1200-Max. The Chinese OEM has also integrated its MariSilicon X NPU custom chip that makes the phone capable of capturing 4K Night videos. For cooling, we get an efficient system with graphite sheets.
The vanilla variant of the Reno8 features the MediaTek Dimensity 1300-chipset. This will improve the performance over its predecessor by nearly 40% and is 20% more power-efficient. The phone has a VC liquid cooling system and packs two flagship Sony camera sensors. It has a similar design to the Pro version.
A teaser on Twitter hints that the Reno8 lineup will pack a 4,500mAh with support for 80W SuperVOOC charging. In terms of pricing, the vanilla version is likely to be priced at Rs.29,999 and the Pro version will carry a price tag of Rs.42,000. With just 6 more days to go for the official launch of the lineup in India, we can expect all details to surface in the coming days.
