Oppo has finally released the Reno7 5G Series in India. The lineup consists of two devices, the Oppo Reno7 5G and the Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G. They were originally unveiled in China in November, however, the variant that has launched in India is different from the one that launched in China, it is close to the Reno 7 SE model that launched in China.
The Reno7 5G will compete against the Mi 11X, Realme GT Master Edition, OnePlus Nord2 while the Reno7 Pro will compete against Samsung Galaxy 20FE, Mi 11i HyperCharge, and Realme GT.

Oppo Reno7 5G
The Reno7 5G runs on Android 11 OS with ColorOS 12 on top, it has a 6.4″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The device has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
The display has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip that has been paired with 8GB RAM.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno7 5G has a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. The device features a 32MP selfie shooter.
In terms of storage and connectivity, the Reno7 comes with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, 5G support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
It has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, pedometer, and proximity sensor. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device has a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
The Oppo Reno7 5G has been priced at 28,999 INR for the sole 8GB RAM+256GB variant, it will be available for purchase starting February 17th in Starlight Black and Startrail Blue colors.
Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G
The Oppo Reno7 5G features a 6.5″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The display arrives with a Gorilla Glass 5 protection layer.
The Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 12. It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max chipset paired with 12GB RAM. In the optics department, there is a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP secondary lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It also has a dedicated color temperature sensor.
The Reno7 Pro 5G has a 32MP selfie shooter. The device has 256GB of storage onboard. In terms of connectivity issues, you get 5G support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 support, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC support, and a USB Type-C port.
The Reno7 Pro 5G has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, pedometer, and proximity sensor. You get an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The device packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
