During the event of unveiling the Oppo Reno5 and Reno5 Pro smartphones in China, it confirmed the announcement of the Oppo Reno5 Pro+ smartphone on December 24. As of now, recently, this phone has been listed on TENAA’s website. In that listing, it has confirmed that the Oppo Reno5 Pro+’s rear camera features a 50MP primary sensor of Sony IMX766 (confirmed today). It is said that the Oppo Reno5 Pro+ will be the world’s first smartphone to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 camera.
An official poster has also been released by the company showing a little glimpse of the phone, basically the rear side. It looks like the rear panel of this phone can be seen sporting a matte color finish with a textured design. As per the camera section, this phone is about to feature a quad rear camera setup on its back, supported by the LED flash. Another thing we can witness that on the bottom right side of the rear panel, a line has written “RENO GLOW” vertically in a stylish design.
As per the camera sensors specifications, recently it has confirmed by Oppo that the primary sensor will be 50MP. Apart from it, there will be three other sensors: a 16-megapixel superwide lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies, this phone is likely to feature a 32MP selfie snapper at the front.
The Oppo Reno5 Pro+ will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Regarding the display, this phone is expected to feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This phone will feature curved edges. For AMOLED display, this phone supports an in-display fingerprint scanner. The SOC of this phone could be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
