Oppo launched their much anticipated Reno 6 Series in India today. The brand new flagship series was first launched in China, with the Reno 6 Pro headlining the launch and two other lower-spec variants. However, only two of the devices have come to India, the Reno 6 and the Reno 6 Pro. Let us take a look at the specs that each of the phones will carry.
Oppo Reno 6
The Oppo Reno 6 5G will feature a 6.43″ FHD+ AMOLED display along with a 90Hz refresh rate with a 180Hz touch sampling. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM+128GB storage. It will run on Android 11 out-of-the-box(ColorOS 11.3).
The Reno 6 will have a triple-camera setup with a 64MP main sensor along with an 8MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. It will come with a 32MP selfie shooter and will have a 4,300mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
It will have an in-display fingerprint scanner, have a 5GB Virtual RAM, and also have a VC Liquid Cooling system.
The Oppo Reno 6 5G is priced at 29,990 INR and will be available from July 29th.
Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G
The Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G, the best model in the Reno 6 series is expected to come with a larger 6.55″ FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip and arriving in a 12GB RAM+256GB storage variant, it is expected to run on Android 11 based ColorOS 11.3.
When it comes to the camera setup, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G will consist of a quad-camera setup with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and two, 2MP sensors. It will have a 32MP selfie shooter.
The Reno 6 Pro 5G will have a larger 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 7GB Virtual RAM, and an X-axis Linear Motor.
It is expected to release in a 12GB+256GB variant priced at 39,990 INR.
