OPPO Reno 12F 5G Receives NBTC Certification Ahead of Launch

OPPO Reno 12F 5G appears in Thailand, tipped to launch soon via NBTC official OPPO is preparing to launch the OPPO Reno and the OPPO 12F 5G on June 18, and then a mystery phone, presumably the OPPO Reno 12F 5G which has surfaced on Geekbench, getting single-core and multi-core scores of 677 and 1415 respectively. This Geekbench list has revealed many important aspects of the mid-range phone.

The OPPO Reno 12F 5G, on the other hand, is said to draw power from the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which as per the leaks, is an octa-core processor manufactured using a 6nm process and goes as high as 2.40GHz on its high-performance cores. It includes six low-power cores and two high-performance cores, complemented by a Mali-G57 GPU and 8 GB of RAM. This phone will come with Android 14.

For battery capacity, the two variants should be no less than a 5,000mAh battery, 45W SuperVOOC fast-charging technology both for 4G and 5G of the Oppo Reno 12F. The same date has been mentioned in the print of the certificate, and the phone already found its way to India’s BIS listing so we can safely say it will be unveiled on June 18 only.

The Oppo Reno 12F 4G will be powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC. The two models will come with a vertical triple rear camera module that will consist of a 50MP OV50D primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front is expected to come with a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor for taking selfies that will reside in a punch-hole cutout.

While the 5G variant of the Oppo Reno 12F is confirmed for India and other Asian markets, the availability of the 4G variant in India remains uncertain. Reliable sources suggest the 4G model could start at around $300 (approximately ₹25,000), with the 5G variant expected to be priced slightly higher. Color options for both variants include orange, green, and grey.
