The brand released the Oppo Reno 12 series recently in China but is now aiming to launch it in the global markets over the next weeks. Details of the global versions’ specifications are still under wraps, but it is rumored that both the Reno 12 5G and Reno 12 Pro 5G will be powered by the recently announced Dimensity 7300 SoC.
The All New Oppo Reno 12 Series
The global Reno 12 series will also come in the aforementioned colorways, and storage options, and be priced the same as the Nordic Reno 12 series according to the info shed by tipster Paras Guglani. Guglani on X disclosed that the Oppo Reno 12 5G global variant will arrive in Black Brown and Astro Silver, whereas the Reno 12 Pro 5G will be sold in Nebula Silver and Nebula Black. As per the post, the Reno 12 is expected to feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage while the Pro variant will include 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
According to the tweet by Guglani, the Reno 12 5G is priced at €457.83 in the Eurozone, and the Reno 12 Pro 5G will cost €549.40. According to the latest report, the international Reno 12 family is likely to be powered by the all-new Dimensity 7300 SoC They will be succeeding the Dimensity 7050 chip with an approximate 20% improvement in performance along with offering around 20% lesser power draw.
The leaked details about camera specifications have been greeted with an element of skepticism. The report claims that the Reno 12 Pro will have a 50 MP LYT-600 primary camera, while the Reno 12 5G global model will feature a 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP camera setup without a telephoto lens. Given that the Reno 11 5G global model includes a 32 MP telephoto camera, it seems unlikely that the brand would release its successor with less advanced camera hardware.
