Oppo Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro Set to Hit Asian Markets on January 11th, Indian Launch on the Horizon

Oppo is gearing up to introduce the Oppo Reno 11 series in India, following its initial debut in China. As per information from a reliable tipster, the eagerly awaited phone is slated to make its way to India on January 10. Despite the imminent launch, Oppo has remained tight-lipped about specific details for the Indian release, leaving enthusiasts eager for more information. Notably, a sneak peek of the phone’s design has been showcased on Oppo’s Malaysia website.

The tipster reveals that the phone is scheduled to be unveiled in Malaysia on January 11, a day after its Indian debut. Further adding to the anticipation, Ishan Agarwal, a trusted source, recently hinted at the global release of the Oppo Reno 11 series on January 11 in a post on X (formerly Twitter). In alignment with these speculations, Oppo Malaysia has officially confirmed the series launch in the country on the same date.

This announcement sets the stage for a potential teaser campaign by Oppo India in the upcoming week. Moreover, the Oppo Malaysia website has divulged essential specifications and designs of the Reno 11 series.

The Oppo Reno 11 Pro, currently available in China, boasts a sizable 6.7-inch OLED display with an impressive 1.5K resolution (2772x1240p) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Oppo claims that this display supports 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and achieves a brightness of 1,600nits. Conversely, the Reno 11 features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1080p resolution, sharing the same 120Hz refresh rate and attaining up to 950nits brightness.

Diverging in terms of processing power, the Reno 11 opts for the Dimensity 8200, while the Reno 11 Pro is fueled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. The Pro version is equipped with a 4,700mAh battery and offers rapid 80W fast wired charging. On the other hand, the standard Reno supports 67W fast wired charging and comes with a slightly larger 4,800mAh battery. Both devices operate on Oppo’s latest ColorOS 14 software, based on the Android 14 platform.

The Chinese variant of the Oppo Reno 11 Pro features a robust rear triple-camera setup. It showcases a primary 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens and optical stabilization, along with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and an additional 32-megapixel 2x telephoto lens.

The Reno 11 is led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 main sensor, featuring a rear triple-camera setup with optical stabilization behind an f/1.8 aperture lens. This setup also includes a 32-megapixel 2x telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. Both phones are equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing selfies, rounding out their photographic capabilities.
