In the lead-up to its Find X8 series launch, Oppo has shown off a new promotional video detailing what appears to be an upcoming line of magnetic accessories under the branding Oppo Mag. In addition to showing off these add-ons, the video also provides a sneak peak of what we can expect from the Find X8 and how magnetic wireless charging is going work among its flagship lineup.

Despite the last video, which showed a variety of cases in different colors and materials, this one starts off with some more before demonstrating Oppo’s new AIRVOOC magnetic wireless charger for charging a Find X8 at up to 50W. It has a built-in cooling fan.
One of the other accessories shown is a thin battery pack that magnetically sticks onto the rear of the Find X8 which seems like Anker’s existing MagGo Power Bank that costs $56. This battery pack does not specify the exact power output, but there appears to be one USB-C port in a side view. The Oppo Mag Line has only two accessories for now: the AIRVOOC charger, and this magnetic power bank.
Importantly, the video indicates that the Oppo Find X8 relies on these magnetic cases to interact with the Oppo Mag accessories. Unlike the iPhone 12 and later models that incorporate internal magnets, the Find X8 lacks them, meaning the magnetic functionality is entirely case-dependent.
The Oppo Mag accessories are expected to be compatible not just with the Find X8 series but also with the upcoming OnePlus 13, which has been confirmed to support magnetic wireless charging through cases that include integrated magnets. In certain markets, these accessories may even be marketed under the OnePlus brand. The official unveiling of the Oppo Find X8 series and Oppo Mag accessories is scheduled for October 24 in China, with a global launch anticipated to follow.
