Recently interesting news has just come out on the twitter handle of Mukul Sharma that Oppo is about to introduce its Augmented reality (AR) glasses in India. Nowadays virtual reality or Augmented Reality becomes very popular among the users. Everyone wants to enjoy sports or high-end gaming in a virtual experience. There are many manufacturers who have already brought these AR glasses in the market. Lets’ see how Augmented Reality works.
Augmented reality (AR) is an interactive experience of a real-world environment where the objects that reside in the real world are enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information, sometimes across multiple sensory modalities, including visual, auditory, haptic, somatosensory, and olfactory. AR can be defined as a system that fulfills three basic features: a combination of real and virtual worlds, real-time interaction, and accurate 3D registration of virtual and real objects. Augmented reality opened up a new window to the gaming industry. After the release of Pokemon Go, this immersive technology went far from just entertainment.
This time Oppo has filed the trademark for OPPO Glass in India according to reports. According to the trademark from Oppo, the Word Mark is Oppo Glass. In the Goods & Services Description column we can see various names, such as eyeglasses, smart-glasses, virtual reality headsets, 3D spectacles, spectacle cases, eyeglass frames, and so on.
The whole thing is in the process. There is no official information about the availability of those Oppo AR glasses in India by the company. Moreover, the company has not confirmed any price range for the existing devices.
