A leaked image of the upcoming OPPO Find X8 was provided by Digital Chat Station yesterday. Although the entire device isn’t shown to us, the front was. The top has a punch hole for the front camera, and the bezels are quite uniform. Interestingly, the Dynamic Island feature—which was first available in iPhones running iOS 16 in 2022—is present in the OPPO Find X8.
But it’s debatable whether they’re seen in a fresh image of a pre-release handset that seasoned leaker Digital Chat Station recognized as the X8.
Oppo Find X8 features and specifications
With its series-first flat display, the smartphone is already seen as the new standard by which vanilla late-2024 Android flagships, such as the X8, would be able to set themselves apart from their more expensive counterparts.
Though it also features the possibly improved software-based Dynamic Island clone linked to the early betas of its replacement, it may still display backgrounds (and icons) from COS 14.
Rumor has it that the Find X8 will “steal” the iPhone 16 family’s Camera Control. Based on earlier speculations, the Find X8 is expected to sport a 6.5″ to 6.7″ flat screen with a resolution of 1256×2760. It will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 System on a Chip.
There will be three cameras: a 3x periscope zoom, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP primary camera. Black, white, blue, and pink are the available colors for the phone. It will be equipped with a 5,600 mAh battery that can be charged using a 100W cable.
The Oppo Find X8 is rumored to be available in vibrant colors like blue and pink in addition to the traditional black and white. However, the final design is still unknown.
