Oppo is expected to introduce the Find X8 series of smartphones in China sometime next month. The Find X7 was one of the two prior models. However, fresh reports complain that the X8 series will even involve a trio — Find X8, Find X8 Pro and Find X8 Ultra. The well-known tipster Digital Chat Station Weibo has revealed recently the battery and charging capacity of these phones on Weibo, but now in a new post, they have been leaked regarding to display specifications for the X8 series.
Leaks about the Oppo Find X8, X8 Pro, and X8 Ultra
In terms of leaks, the tipster assumes that the Find X8 series will consist of various types of display resolutions, namely 1.5K flat screen, 1.5K shallow curved screen, and 2K shallow curved screen, likely corresponding to the Find X8, X8 Pro, and X8 Ultra models, respectively.
The leak notes that, as of now, all three models utilize screens from Tianma Microelectronics and Beijing Oriental Electronics. The BOE 2K 8T LTPO display features a new substrate, ensuring higher quality, brightness, a variety of dimming strategies as well as ultra-thin bezels on all four sides.
The Find X8 Ultra should arrive in January 2025 and is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, while the Find X8 and X8 Pro are cruising with Dimensity 9400.
