OPPO, the leading global smart device brand, has announced a major software update for its flagship foldable phone, the Find N2 Flip, which enhances the functionality of its cover display and offers a better user experience.
OPPO Adds New Spotify Widget And Speech-to-Text Quick Reply to Flagship Foldable Find N2 Flip
The update includes a new Spotify Widget, exclusively developed by OPPO and Spotify, that allows users to enjoy full play control, content recommendations, and the Heart button without the need to unfold their device. This joint development with Spotify is part of OPPO’s commitment to providing the best possible experience for Find N2 Flip owners.
Peter Dohyung Lee, the head of the flagship product line at OPPO, stated that this update is designed to maximize the utility of the largest cover screen of any flip phone, and users can benefit from the bespoke personalization options and the industry-leading 3.26-inch cover screen. He added that they look forward to collaborating with more developers to bring more much-loved apps to the Find N2 Flip later this year.
In addition, the update introduces a custom-built Speech-to-Text quick reply feature, accessible through the cover screen, that supports all apps with quick reply functionality, including WhatsApp, Messenger, Messages by Google, Telegram, and LINE.
This is the first significant update for the Find N2 Flip since its international launch in February 2023, and it signals OPPO’s four-year commitment to delivering major device improvements. The update is set to roll out worldwide in mid-April, with Speech-to-Text automatically updating, and the Spotify widget can be manually added through the screen widgets settings under “Pocket Player.”
