Oppo has launched the F17 Pro smartphone in India at the last month. Now according to the official reports, Oppo is going to launch a special “Diwali Edition” of the F17 Pro on October 19 this year. Oppo has not confirmed anything about the final price of the Diwali edition F17 Pro smartphone. As of now, Oppo has posted the image of that phone on their Twitter handle. From that image, we can witness that the Diwali Edition will come in a Matte Gold color to match the fireworks and lamp vibes of the Diwali festival. If we see the other color variants of the F17 Pro, we find a vertical stripe on them which separates the different shades of the same color. But in the case of the Diwali Edition F17 Pro, there is no vertical stripe on the rear panel. On the other hand, it will be a mixture of different color gradients (gold-to-aqua). That’s why no vertical stripe is needed.
In terms of the specifications, there should no change in them. The F17 Pro Diwali Edition is more likely to have its internals with the regular model. Let’s just check out them once again.
The OPPO F17 Pro offers a 6.43-inch Full HD Super AMOLED, hole-punch display (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90.7% screen to body ratio. The dimension of the phone is (160.1×73.8×7.48)mm and the weight is 164 Grams, which indicates the phone has a lightweight.
The Oppo F17 Pro is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 SoC and runs on Android 10 with ColorOS 7.2. The phone is packed with 8GB of RAM with support of 128GB of internal storage, that can be expandable via MicroSD card. This phone houses 4,000mAh of battery capacity with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 fast charging technology.
For photography, the OPPO F17 Pro has a quad-rear back camera setup which includes 48MP primary snapper with an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 lens, a 2MP monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP portrait sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The quad-camera is aligned in a rectangular-shaped layout on the back of the phone.
The most attractive feature of the smartphone is, the OPPO F17 Pro is featured with a dual selfie camera setup at the front, with a 16MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, along with an f/2.4 lens on top. The dual selfie camera is placed in a hole-punch cutout on the left corner of the screen.
Regarding the pricing, the Oppo F17 Pro currently carries a price tag of Rs.22,990 ($315/€265) and is available in Matte Black, Magic Blue, and Metallic White color variants. So we can expect an almost similar price tag for the Diwali Edition of this phone.
