The Upcoming Oppo A78 4G
Now, Oppo is reportedly preparing to launch the Oppo A78 4G smartphone in India. The company recently introduced this smartphone in the Philippines at a price of PHP 13,999. According to a tipster, it will be available offline in India starting next week, with an expected price range of ₹18,000 to ₹20,000.
However, convincing Indian buyers to opt for a 4G smartphone at this price point may prove challenging for Oppo. In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400x1080p and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
To enhance the user experience, the smartphone delivers immersive and clear sound quality through its Dual Stereo Speakers and Real HD Sound 3.0. The device is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, capable of supporting up to 8 hours of gaming, 23 hours of phone calls, or 16 hours of continuous video calls, as claimed by Oppo.
The Oppo A78 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and comes with 8 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage. Additionally, the internal storage can be expanded up to 1 TB by using an SD card. The smartphone runs on ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13.
As for the camera setup, the smartphone features a dual-camera arrangement on the rear side, consisting of a 50 MP AI main camera and a 2 MP depth camera. There is an 8 MP front camera. Currently, the Oppo A78 4G smartphone is available in Aqua Green and Mist Black colors for buyers in Indonesia and the Philippines.
