Another A-series smartphone from Oppo is heading towards the market, named Oppo A74. As of now, we don’t have the exact launch date of this phone, but surely we’ve almost all the specifications of this which have been leaked online. However, it is still a confusion of whether it will be a 4G or a 5G smartphone. But reports are saying that there will be a 4G and 5G version of this phone in which the 4G will be powered by the SD 662 chipset whereas the 5G variant will be powered by the SD 480 chipset. Now, let’s move to the specifications part of the upcoming Oppo A74.

The Oppo A74 will run ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset. Regarding the display, this phone will have a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED punch-hole panel (the refresh rate is unknown as of now). Being an AMOLED panel, this phone will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The SD 662 of this phone will be paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (storage is further expandable up to 256GB via an external microSD card). There could e some other RAM-storage options as well. But those are unknown as of now. Coming to the camera section, this phone will feature a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP (f/1.7) OV48B primary sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) Macro, and a 2MP (f/2.4) Monochrome lens. For selfies, this phone will have a 16MP selfie snapper at the front.

The upcoming Oppo A74 will be fueled up by a bigger 5,000mAH battery supported by 33W of fast charging. In terms of connectivity, this phone is said to have almost everything, such as a dual SIM slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and so on. As per the dimension, this phone measures 160.3 x 73.7 x 7.9 mm and weighs around 175g.
