OPPO introduced the OPPO A58 5G smartphone in China last November. This 5G device is powered by a Dimensity 700 SoC and features a 6.56-inch HD+ display, a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Now, it appears that OPPO is preparing for the release of the OPPO A58 4G smartphone, as the device has obtained certifications from FCC, TUV Rheinland, NBTC, and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
The Upcoming Oppo A58
The FCC certification reveals that the OPPO A58 4G model carries the model number CPH2577 and will come pre-installed with ColorOS 13.1. The certification also discloses the dimensions, weight, and key features of the device. Moreover, as per the FCC documents, the smartphone will come with a 5,000mAh battery and will offer support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. The NBTC certification confirms the model name and number as CPH2577, while the BIS certification suggests that the handset may soon launch in India. Furthermore, the OPPO A58 has also received TUV Rheinland certification.
The exact specifications of the OPPO A58 4G model remain undisclosed at present. However, it is expected to share a similar design and specifications with the A58 5G variant, with a few minor changes. The OPPO A58 5G is equipped with a 6.56-inch HD+ display that offers a refresh rate of 90Hz. Powered by the Dimensity 700 SoC and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, it offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage
In terms of photography, the A58 5G model boasts a dual-camera setup comprising a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP portrait camera. Other notable features include an 8MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, and 5G support. While specific details about the OPPO A58 4G model are yet to be revealed, fans can expect it to offer similar specifications with minor variations compared to its 5G counterpart.
