Alleged OPPO A5 Pro Revealed via TENAA Certification

OPPO seems to be developing a new mid-range smartphone that has been approved by the MIIT authority in China with model number, PKP110. While the listing unveiled the design of the phone, it has hinted that it may belong to A-series. Later, the phone received TENAA certification as well, revealing its full specifications and design. This indicates that the device will be released soon as well.

OPPO A5 Pro Leaked: Complete Specifications and Design Out

Marketing-wise, it’s not out in the open yet, but it is likely to be announced as OPPO A5 Pro having already launched the OPPO A3 Pro back in April this year. It has a circular camera module on the back that includes dual-camera sensors as well as an LED flash. The front design is unclear, as the screen is entirely black, but it likely includes a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The right-hand side houses the volume rocker and power button.

The OPPO phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2410 x 1080 pixels and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The display of the OPPO A3 Pro also has a size as well as rounded screen edges. The measurements are also nearly the same as the A3 Pro at 161.5 x 74.85 x 7.67mm, and it’s just 186 grams.

The phone will reportedly feature a rated 5,840mAh battery which should amount to a typical 6,000mAh up from the previous generations’ 5,000mAh cell. It is powered by an octa-core processor with a 2.5GHz clock speed, which could be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, replacing the Dimensity 7050 found in the A3 Pro. The OPPO A5 Pro is likely to come with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. In terms of cameras, it features a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor, which is a downgrade from the A3 Pro’s 64MP + 2MP setup. For selfies, it will have a 16MP front camera, an upgrade from the 8MP on the previous model.
