Oppo is planning to launch more A-series smartphones worldwide, and today fixates on the Oppo A3 Pro 5G demonstrating exposure at Thailand’s telecom authority (NBTC) certification site.
The Upcoming Oppo A3 Pro
The Oppo A3 Pro 5G appeared in a list with the model number “CPH2639” with certification number B38360-24. The start Date of your Certificate is not mentioned which means it has not been fully approved as yet. The listing only mentions that the phone will be available on GSM/WCDMA/LTE/NR networks and it does not detail the rest of the phone’s specifications.
The Oppo A3 Pro 5G was previously found in the Google Play Console. The listing indicated it may have the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor along with Mali G57 GPU. It also hinted the display will have a resolution of 720×1604 pixels at 320 PPI, will pack at least 8GB of RAM, and will boot Android 14 OS. The documentation lists another model number, “CPH2667,” but it’s not clear if this will have the same specs as Oppo’s A3 Pro 5G for the global market.
Furthermore, the next-gen phone was also revealed on Malaysia’s SIRIM, UAE’s TDRA, SDPPI, and Eurofins under the same model number “CPH2639.” While the SIRIM, TDRA, and SDPPI listings didn’t announce much, Eurofins provided details about the battery, indicating a 5,000 mAh capacity with 45W fast charging support.
Furthermore, it was revealed that there will be two more models, the Oppo A3 5G and Oppo A80 5G, which are rebranded versions of the global Oppo A3 Pro 5G. These models have not yet surfaced on any telecommunication certification websites but were seen on the Google Play Console, hinting at imminent launches.
It’s important to differentiate the global variant from the Chinese version. The Chinese Oppo A3 Pro 5G features the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SOC and is expected to be released globally as the Oppo Reno 12 F 5G and Oppo F27 Pro Series.
