Oppo 50W Mini Super VOOC Biscuit charger goes on sale in China at 399 Yuan ($60)

Chinese brand Oppo has launched a 50W mini VOOC charger in July 2020. But the company has not released it for the sell. So according to a recent report, the company is going to release this charger for sale. The company has started selling this portable charger in China through Huantai Mall (a collaboration of OPPO, Realme, and OnePlus).

The Oppo 50W mini Super VOOC Charger has a shape like a biscuit, so it is also known as a Biscuit charger. This charger has a track-style ultra-thin shape, a large area application of multi-curve design, and also has a folding pin design. This new charger has a new charging technology-Pulse Charging. According to the company, this new charging technology adopts a very short charging gap. The polarization reaction of the battery will be eliminated. The loss and the temperature change o this battery is very minor.

Regarding the internal technology, this charger has a gallium nitride high-frequency switch, that will reduce the single energy storage requirement of the transformer. The charger also features Oppo’s self develop ACF (Active Clamp Flyback)which will control architecture realizes zero voltage as well as zero current switchings, and the switching loss is infinitely close to zero.

In terms of size, the thickness of this Oppo charger is 1.05cm. As Oppo has launched this charger, then it obviously supports Oppo’s own Super VOOC fast charging. Apart from this charger will support other fast charging technology like 27W PD (Power Delivery), 50W PPS (Programmable Power Supply), and others.

Regarding the price, this charger will be priced at 399 Yuan. This is very small in size so it is very much comfortable to carry with you.
