A Friday Filmworks & Reliance Entertainment Production reveals a trailer of a passionate and twisting love story film, ‘Operation Romeo’. The story of the film exposed how a romantic drive becomes a horrible nightmare, and also a guy who used to be good turns into bad overnight. The trailer already created a huge hype among the youth as it introduces real hazards faced by the young lovers in our country.
It is the sixth time that Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia coming together by following super hit shows like ‘Toilet-Ek Prem Kathat’, ‘Rustom’, and ‘Naam Shabana’. The upcoming romantic adaptation of mainly a runaway of the Malayalam hit .’ Ishq: Not A Love Story’ the love chemistry of the show attracted much youth of India.
Now ‘Operation Romeo’ reveals the fear and anxiety of the young couple across India. We will like to know that the story of the movie has been influenced by a real-life incident that happened in the life of the filmmaker Anuraj Manohar, and after that, he get the inspiration to make ‘Ishq’ a movie get a huge response.
Operation Romeo: Plot
The trailer starts with a voice-over of a Sidhant as Adi who is using slang and asking what happened in a car as he becomes desperate to know the truth. After that, we have seen Vedika Pinto as Neha in a mirror glass of a car walking towards it with a colorful flower bouquet in his hand she is looking gorgeous in white attire and open hair, she sits in the car and shut the door.
Adi wish him Happy Birthday, and Neha give a romantic smile on her face replied, “Thank You”, the icon 90’s Bollywood song “Rup Tera Mastana” starts to play in the background, the young love birds were spent a perfect day with road celebrating a birthday, visiting many places together, doing romance in the boat at the time of sunset.
While they are returning in a car Adi says to Neha don’t be sleepy as she cannot be sleepy on the first night as they set out for a night out. Adi parked the car at midnight, they both just come closer to kiss each other as a violent banging on the door ruined the moment. The sound seems like the hitting of a stick of a police officer and that’s the trailer introduces sub-inspector Magesh Jadhav, who has a misconception in his mind that the couple is a threat to society. The sub-inspector starts moral policing them.
He starts to do a video and said the woman to get out of the car, while her boyfriend Adi comes to resist him to stop the video he shows his power to be a sub-inspector. The sub-inspector and one man named Patil entered the car and the sub-inspector sit with Neha in the back seat of the car. While her boyfriend says to allow her to sit in the front with him then he said don’t argue with him, and threats him otherwise he will do bad behavior with his girlfriend.
On the road, the car stop at the midnight, Adi is forced to come out of the car by Patil to take money from the ATM, and by taking the chances the inspector forces his girlfriend in the car, after returning Adi just hits the car glass and cries and the inspector gives a devil laughter and says it seems like it is the first time for her with a real man and that scene literally reveal the immense pain of a real lover for his girlfriend, after that night the good guy turns bad.
The twist comes when Adi finds out the identity of his wife who is a Marathi woman played by Bhumika Chawla, the trailer reveals the flashback of Adi and Neha’s romantic moments before this incident, he just breaks all things and became furious to take revenge. We can bet the scenes of the film express the experiences of many couples in our country.
Operation Romeo: Cast
This film features Vedika Pinto and Sidhant Gupta in the lead role. Shashant Shah has been directed the film. Sharad Kelkar reprising the role of sub-inspector Magesh Jadhav, the actor says “The role is unique. It was difficult for me to portray a character who is totally opposite to the kind of person I am.” Bhumika Chawla also comes back to Bollywood as a Maharashtrian married woman with sub-inspector Jadav. She said, “ throughout my career in Bollywood and the South, I have never done such a role. It is my first time in the role of Marathi housewife,”
Sidhant Gupta said,” In TV, you cannot explore your creativity the way you can in a film.” Vedika Pinto said,” I have grown up watching movies and I always feel cinema has that power to change society.”
