The ONEXPLAYER Mini is a portable gaming console featuring a 7-inch monitor, built-in game controllers, and Windows software capable of running a wide range of PC games. One Netbook, which debuted earlier this year as a smaller alternative to the 8.4-inch ONEXPLAYER series of handhelds, has been fast extending its inventory with new variants sporting different processors.

About the Launch Date

The new ONEXPLAYER Mini AMD Edition with a Ryen 7 5800U processor and Radeon Vega 8 integrated graphics is now available globally. After launching in China last month, it is now available for pre-order globally for $999 and higher, with shipments expected to begin on April 20, 2022.

While the ONEXPLAYER itself lacks a physical keyboard, One Netbook does sell a foldable Bluetooth keyboard as an optional add-on for $59. A case is also available for an additional $29.

About the Pricing

As for pricing it’s complicated. One Netbook says that retail prices will range from $1259 for a model with 512GB of storage to $1499 for a 2TB version of the little computer. But folks who pre-order will be able to save up to 21 percent depending on the model they select and the day they place their orders:

First 24 Hours$999 (21% off)$1,169 (16% off)$1,369 (14% off)

5-10 Days$1,159 (8% off)$1,299 (7% off)$1,499 (6% off)
Retail$1,259$1,399$1,599

On the other hand, the retail costs are comparable to what One Netbook charges for an Intel-powered version of the ONEXPLAYER Mini. That model has a similar design but is powered by an Intel Core i7-1195G7 processor, a 10,455 mAh battery, and a 100-watt rapid charger. It’s also a tad lighter, at 587 grams (1.29 pounds).

However, a new variant with a 12th-generation Intel Core i7-1260P Alder Lake processor is on the way. That version’s international cost has yet to be published, but it sells for roughly $1,255 and higher in China.
