A source named Digital Chat Station on the Weibo platform recently mentioned some details, about a model’s features suggesting that it will come with a big screen and a greatly improved 5,700mAh battery capacity as opposed to the previous models’ 4,805mAh capacity. Despite having a big battery onboard the OnePlus Open 2 is said to stay slim in appearance.

The device is anticipated to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite and might feature a specially tailored USB Type C port for improved usability. The photography features are set to improve with a triple rear camera system tuned by Hasselblad that includes a main camera of 50 megapixels and additional 50-megapixel sensors for ultra-wide shots and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3 times optical zoom.

The foldable device is expected to be released in the Q1 of 2025. When it arrives in China as the Oppo Find N5, it may showcase OnePlus’ continued partnership with Oppo, bringing their foldable technology and software integration into the next phase.
