OnePlus is gearing up for its upcoming ‘Nord Summer Launch Event,’ set to take place on July 5th, during which it will unveil three new products: the Nord 3, Nord CE 3 5G, and Nord Buds 2r. In the lead-up to the event, the company has been gradually disclosing information about its latest offerings. The camera specifications for the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G have now been officially confirmed.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 – Everything Known So Far
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G is set to feature a triple camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For capturing selfies, a 16-megapixel front camera is anticipated.
Interestingly, the 50-megapixel camera is the same one found in the OnePlus Nord 3, indicating that the latter model will likely have more power and a higher price point compared to the Nord CE 3. In addition to the camera details, OnePlus has shared some confirmed specifications for the Nord CE 3. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G chipset. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will be available in an ‘Aqua Surge’ color option, and there might be another color variant introduced during the launch.
While some specifications have been confirmed, there are still anticipated details about the OnePlus Nord CE 3. Reports suggest that the smartphone will likely come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display boasting 950 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Regarding memory and storage options, the Nord CE 3 is expected to offer up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. A substantial 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology is rumored to be included. On the software side, the smartphone is likely to run on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.1 out-of-the-box.
