According to a confirmation post on OnePlus India’s official X page, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 will go on sale in India on September 17 at 12pm IST. The design of the earphones’ charging case is hinted at in the post’s photograph. OnePlus’s branding and an LED charging indication light are situated at the front of what looks to be a pebble-shaped casing.
This will be the less expensive model that replaces the Nord Buds 2 from last year, as it comes after the release of the Nord Buds 3 Pro back in July. The Nord Buds 2R was another model; however, it is unclear if the Buds 3R will serve as the entry-level model with ANC.

On the other hand, it is anticipated that the Nord Buds 3 will have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Bluetooth 5.4, dynamic drivers with the BassWave 2.0 Enhancement algorithm, and an extended battery life. The TWS earbuds’ dual-color availability has also been confirmed by the manufacturer.
The pill-shaped charging case of the previous OnePlus Nord Buds 2 is not at all like this. Rather, the design is a lot like the newly released Nord Buds 3 Pro. The forthcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 3 might include charging ports on the underside of the earphone stems, just like the Pro model.
On the OnePlus India website, a product page for the Nord Buds 3 has gone live, revealing the available color options.
The Nord Buds 2, which retail for Rs. 2,999, have 12.4mm dynamic speakers and support for up to 25dB of active noise cancellation (ANC). With the charging case, the IP55-rated earbuds are said to have a 36-hour battery life overall.
