OnePlus has announced that they will release the Nord 2 5G on the 22nd of July. To build anticipation for the launch, the brand has been teasing key features of the Nord 2 for the past couple of weeks.
So far, we know that the OnePlus Nord 2 will carry a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset along with a 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display. Today a leak from industry insider Ishan Agarwal and 91mobiles gives us a clear look at the front of the Nord 2.
The latest render confirms that the OnePlus Nord 2 will have a punch-hole camera along with slim bezels on all sides. The device appears to be nearly as thick as the original Nord. The Nord 2 will receive a single front camera which explains the smaller punch-hole provision compared to the pill-shaped dual-camera setup we witnessed on the original Nord.
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G is expected to feature a 6.43″ FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display along with a 90Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset that will be paired along with 8GB/12GB RAM options and 128GB/256GB storage options.
The Nord 2 5G as we previously witnessed in earlier leaks, will feature a triple-camera setup on the rear with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP camera. The front camera will be a 32MP selfie shooter.
To top it all off, OnePlus will equip the Nord 2 5G with a 4,500mAh battery. We can expect more leaks to emerge as we are nearing the launch date now, the Nord 2 5G is expected to retail at around 30,000 INR.
