Global technology brand OnePlus today announced the introduction of its new N Series smartphone lineup in India, aiming to capture the ₹18,000–₹25,000 segment. The first device in this series, the N6, is scheduled for launch on June 30. This initiative marks a strategic expansion of OnePlus’ smartphone offerings in the Indian market.
The N Series is positioned to cater specifically to India’s younger consumer base, offering a diversified product portfolio that now includes three distinct smartphone categories. Previously operating with Flagship and Nord series, OnePlus India will now offer devices across a wider price spectrum, from approximately ₹18,000 to over ₹70,000.

OnePlus Strategic Market Expansion
India’s smartphone market saw over 152 million units shipped in 2025, with evolving consumer expectations, particularly among younger demographics who increasingly utilize smartphones as their primary interface for entertainment, casual gaming, learning, and content creation.

“The ₹18,000–₹25,000 segment is central to India’s smartphone market, and it’s where consumer expectations are evolving rapidly,” stated Ford, Vice-President, OnePlus India (https://www.oneplus.in). “For Gen Z consumers, smartphones are integral to their daily lives. The N Series is designed to meet these demands, offering core OnePlus experiences such as long-lasting battery, smooth performance, and thoughtful design to a broader audience.” The company indicated that ‘N’ signifies ‘New,’ ‘Neo,’ and ‘Never Off,’ reflecting the series’ target demographic and performance promises.
Earlier this year, OnePlus strengthened its operational footprint in India by optimizing its channel strategy and expanding its service network from 400 to 500 centers, leveraging the existing OPPO service infrastructure.
Revised Smartphone Portfolio Structure
OnePlus India’s smartphone portfolio will now be structured into three defined categories:
N Series (₹18,000–₹25,000): This new lineup aims to bring the essential OnePlus user experience to a broader segment of Indian consumers, targeting the next generation of users.
Nord Series (₹25,000–₹50,000): Designed for consumers seeking flagship-inspired features at a more accessible price point.
Flagship Series (₹50,000 and above): Encompasses OnePlus’s premium devices, featuring advanced performance, high-end design, and the latest technological innovations.
With over 377 million Gen Z consumers in India, accounting for 44% of smartphone purchases, the N Series is strategically developed for a generation that relies heavily on their smartphones. This move underscores OnePlus’s adaptation to changing market dynamics and consumer preferences in one of the world’s largest smartphone markets, aligning with broader industry developments(https://technosports.co.in/). Further details regarding the OnePlus N Series are expected in the coming weeks leading up to the N6 launch.
