OnePlus appears to be preparing for an exciting update to its Ace series, with new models reportedly in development — the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition. While there isn’t much more to go on, it seems likely there will be some new designs and plenty of power under the hood of these new products.

Leaks suggest both devices will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity processors. The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition could be equipped with a 6.77-inch OLED LTPS flat display, an optical fingerprint scanner, and a dual rear camera module that could have a 50MP main camera and a 16MP sensor, according to a Chinese tipster. \

It is also tipped to house a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The Ace 5 Racing Edition may be one of the first phones powered by the unreleased MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor, which is expected to be better than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Meanwhile, the Ace 5 Supreme Edition (also referred to as the Extreme Edition in some leaks) is rumored to feature the Dimensity 9400+ chipset. These chips are expected to take mobile gaming performance to new heights. Adding to its gaming credentials, the new Ace models are believed to integrate Oppo’s Fengchi gaming kernel, a chip-level gaming optimization technology designed to enhance in-game performance and responsiveness.

While an official launch date hasn’t been confirmed, sources speculate that the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing and Supreme Editions may debut as early as next month. The new lineup follows the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, which launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite Edition, and the standard Ace 5 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. All signs point to OnePlus targeting mobile gamers with powerful hardware and sleek design in its upcoming Ace 5 series refresh.
