OnePlus has officially announced the launch of its Ace 2 Pro smartphone in China this month. Prior to its release, the upcoming smartphone has been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark platform.
The Upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro
The AnTuTu benchmark version 10 listed the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro with the model number PJA110, achieving an impressive benchmark score of 17,33,703 points. The individual scores include a CPU score of 4,56,555 points, a GPU score of 6,13,916 points, a MEM score of 3,63,631 points, and a UX score of 2,99,601 points.
Additionally, the database revealed that the device will come with the Android 13-based operating system and will be available in a 24GB RAM and 1TB internal storage variant, as previously rumored.
Further details about the chipset were also disclosed, confirming that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with a primary Cortex X3 core clocked at 3.2 GHz, two Cortex A715 cores clocked at 2.8GHz, two Cortex A710 cores clocked at 2.8GHz, and three Cortex A510 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The device will also feature an Adreno 740 GPU, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 internal storage. Furthermore, it will support a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device had previously appeared on the Geekbench database and the 3C certification platform with the same model number, PJA110. As for the expected specifications of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, clocked at 3.2GHz, and integrated with the Adreno 740 GPU. It will come with the Android 13 operating system pre-installed, along with a maximum of 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
The smartphone is also anticipated to feature a 6.7″ OLED display with a screen resolution of 1.5K and a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected to boast a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera, along with additional 8MP and 2MP cameras. For selfies, a 16MP front-facing camera is expected, though other reports suggest alternative configurations, such as a 48MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP telephoto camera alongside a 32MP selfie camera.
The device is rumored to be powered by either a 5000mAh or a 5500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Initial speculations indicated two fast charging options (100W and 150W), but the 3C certification revealed the presence of a 150W charging adaptor. Other expected features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers.
