After the launch of the OnePlus 8 series, we are getting different leaks regarding the upcoming OnePlus 9 series for a few days. A recent leak has just come out about this issue that OnePlus is looking to launch the OnePlus 9 series in the future and there will be three models in this 9 series. Two of them are quite confirmed: OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The third one is confusing, but it is expected that the number 3 will be the OnePlus 9 “Ultra” smartphone. We have got this information from the model numbers which have been leaked today. There are five model numbers of the OnePlus 9 series and the reason may be for different RAM/storage configurations.
The five model numbers are as follows:
- OnePlus 9: LE2110
- OnePlus 9 Pro: LE2117, LE2119, LE2120
- Other OnePlus 9 device (“Ultra”): LE2127
As per the specifications, obviously, nothing is confirmed right now. But some of the key specifications have been revealed up for the OnePlus series smartphones. Let’s check out what are those.
OnePlus 9 series smartphones will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset. Regarding the display, there will be an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. Apart from this, NFC, IP68 water and dustproof rating, dual stereo speakers will also be there. These phones will feature a punch-hole cutout design for holding the selfie camera.
In terms of battery, the original capacity has not been confirmed yet. But the battery will be supported by a huge 65W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging. Regarding the availability, OnePlus has not confirmed anything yet, but we can expect that the company will launch its OnePlus 9 series in the first quarter of 2021, probably March.
