OnePlus has officially announced earlier this week that OnePlus is going to launch its latest flagship series, the OnePlus 9 series on March 23, and well ahead of its launch, the official renders have already been leaked of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Also, rumors have been saying that there could be another smartphone in this series, probably the OnePlus 9 Lite or OnePlus 9E, or OnePlus 9R (name not confirmed). From these leaked renders, we’ve come to know the overall design, color variants of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.

In the meantime, OnePlus has also officially released a teaser promotional video of the OnePlus 9 series showing the first look at the OnePlus 9 Pro in real skin. The rear side looks exactly the same as what we’ve seen in previously leaked renders. But this time, it is official, not a render on which we can rely.

OnePlus 9

As per the leaked renders, we can see three different color options of the OnePlus 9 with a glossy finish: Blue, Purple, and Black. This time, the display will be a flat one instead of curved with a punch hole at the top left corner of the screen.

Coming to the camera section, this phone looks to have a triple rear camera setup with a Hasselblad branding indicating that we’ll also get some of the premium camera-features similar to its Pro model. On the other hand, the OnePlus 9 Pro will have a quad rear camera setup. Another noticeable difference that we can find between the standard and the Pro model is that the OnePlus 9 doesn’t have antenna bands indicating that it will not have a metal frame.

OnePlus 9 Pro

As per the leaked renders, we can see three different color options of the OnePlus 9 Pro: Green, Silver, and Black. The display is a curved one instead of flat with a punch hole at the top left corner of the screen. In terms of the ports and buttons, this phone has the power button and the alert slider are on the right side and the volume rockers are on the left side.

Coming to the camera section, the main attraction is the Hasselblad branding on the camera housing. The OnePlus 9 Pro looks to have a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP Sony IMX789 primary sensor (OnePlus confirmed), a 50MP SonyIMX766 ultra-wide-angle camera with a 140° field of view, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3.3x zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor as well.

As per reports, the OnePlus 9 Pro camera module supports 12-bit RAW, can record 8K video at 30fps, and also has the T-lens technology for the fast autofocus for the selfie camera.
