OnePlus is going to launch its flagship model- OnePlus 8T on 14th October. The CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau has taken to Weibo to give some hints of the features of this upcoming flagship handset.
According to Weibo, CEO Pete Lau claimed that the OnePlus 8T will run smoothly for at least 3 years and adds that this is a problem with many so-called flagship phones. So, he states that this flagship 8T will provide a smooth user experience for at least 3 years.
Regarding the display features, this upcoming flagship handset from OnePlus will have 120Hz of refresh rate whereas the predecessor model has 90Hz of refresh rate. Pete confirmed, “the OnePlus 8T comes with a 6.55-inch, 120Hz fluid display, which is the same size as [the] OnePlus 8” and this is added to provide users “a buttery smooth display experience”.
The OnePlus 8T will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865SoC and will run on Android 11 out-of-the-box with OxygenOS 11. The phone comes with a decent battery backup of 4,500mAh, which will be supported by 65W of super-fast charging technology.
Let’s enlighten to the camera setup of this phone. The phone packs with a quad rear camera setup, which includes- 48MP main sensor alongside a 16MP Ultra-wide lens, 5MP Macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone features a hole-punch cutout at the upper left corner on the screen to hole a 32MP front camera for selfie and video call purpose.
OnePlus will offer two types of RAM configurations- 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. The basis on the storage configuration the company sets two different prices- the basic variant will set to be priced at 799 Euros and another variant will cost 899 Euros.
