OnePlus 8 series is coming on April 14

OnePlus is going to unveil the most awaited OnePlus 8 series on April 14. A few weeks back we have seen that the brand ambassador of OnePlus was spotted with a new device which we guessed to be the new OnePlus 8 Pro. The official OnePlus Twitter account set the record straight as the big event will be live-streamed on YouTube and OnePlus’ official website starting at 3 PM UTC and 8:30 PM IST time. The tagline for this year is “Lead with Speed”.

The OnePlus 8 series will come with three variants namely, the Lite, normal and the Pro version. The Light version may pack in MediaTek chipset and can be called OnePlus Z. Whereas, the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will pack in the Snapdragon 865 SoC with a 5G module. Both the devices will come with a 90Hz to 120Hz refresh rate display.

Nothing much is known about the pricing of these devices but we may see a price hike than the previous ones. The company may also launch a Smart TV with the devices that day.
