A Performance Beast with a Safe Camera Play
OnePlus has previously described the 15T as a “dream phone” for small-screen users, positioning it as the successor to last year’s 13T, with emphasis on performance and smoothness rather than radical redesign. The spy shot confirms a dual rear camera in a pill-shaped housing — and while the design is a departure from the 13T, the camera spec story is largely familiar.
The primary Sony Lytia 700 (1/1.56″) at f/1.8 with OIS is very close to the 13T’s IMX906 in terms of size and light intake, and the telephoto aperture is actually narrower this time at f/2.8 versus f/2.0 previously — meaning low-light telephoto shots could take a step back.
Where the 15T genuinely excites is elsewhere: a rumoured 7,500mAh battery paired with 100W or 120W fast charging in a compact 6.31″ chassis would be genuinely impressive endurance credentials, and a 165Hz OLED panel at 1.5K on a sub-6.35″ phone makes it one of the smoothest compact displays on the market. In India, the OnePlus 15T is rumoured to arrive as the OnePlus 15s with different optics.
