At its latest flagship smartphone event, OnePlus took the opportunity to announce that it is expanding access to Genshin Impact for its international fans in 2024. OnePlus has recently unveiled a limited edition of its 12R smartphone as part of a collaboration effort. This unique variant, known as the Genshin Impact Edition, is being promoted as a first-generation custom model, though it faces competition from the Ace Pro version.

The collaboration promises optimized performance enhancements from both OnePlus and HoYoverse featuring the Trinity Engine performance platform and running on OxygenOS 14 for the 12R model. The Genshin Impact Edition aims to enhance gaming experiences with its fast and smooth gameplay capabilities. It also offers a customized user interface that goes beyond just themed icons to immerse users in the world of Keqing, the hero.
With top-of-the-line features like the OnePlus X BOE 1.5K display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and 16GB of RAM, the 12R model ensures a gaming experience with support for, up to 120fps gameplay when possible. The details about whether the upcoming model will include UFS 4.0 storage are still unconfirmed. It does come with 256GB of internal storage, indicating that it is likely to stick to the typical specifications, in this regard.
The OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition is bundled with its Custom Gift Box in an Electro Violet color scheme. It also features a OnePlus inaugural charging cable with an angled USB C connector, which complements the shade of the accompanying power brick. Moreover, the Gift Box can be transformed into a “Garage Kit” display box, serving as a showcase for the user’s Keqing merchandise collection, some of which is also bundled with the smartphone.
OnePlus has announced that the 12R Genshin Impact Edition will be available for pre-order starting today (February 28, 2024) at a price of INR 49,999 in India, €749 in Europe, or $649/CA$869.99 in North America, offering 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. While priced higher than the standard 12R model in these regions, it comes with special offers such as trade-in deals, €50 discounts, and/or a complimentary case, depending on the buyer’s location.
