OnePlus 11R confirmed to feature 100W SuperVOOC S charging

The new OnePlus 11R smartphone is incoming and will be launched as OnePlus Ace 2 in China and the 11R is in India. The new teasers of the smartphone in China have confirmed the fact it will sport OnePlus’s upcoming 100W SuperVOOC S charging which will also will be featuring in the upcoming OnePlus 11 launching on 7th February.

Interestingly, the previous OnePlus 10R we reviewed it featured 150W SuperVOOC charging support, however, why did OnePlus reduce the charging speeds? Well, most likely because most people are happy if the charging time is around half an hour and instead of marketing gimmick people need an all-rounder rather just focussing on charging and performance.

Having the same yet big 5000mAh battery, OnePlus this time is advertising on the longetivity of the battery instead of superfast charging. Though it claims to deliver 0-50% charging in just 10 minutes but interestingly claims the battery to last for 4 years and also promises Smart charging features to improve the health.

I think this is a better approach because I have seen my OnePlus 10 Pro given to me for review see deteoriating battery life with everyday usage. So, OnePlus is said to bring battery health feature this time with OnePlus 11 series to help you see how the real-time battery life health like the iPhones, a much needed feature i would say.
